A'Niyla and Dave shopped for a few hours, they had an amazing time. Dave stuck around for all the shopping. Even with Niyla grabbing a few things for Kelsey. Dave paid for everything even the personal things she grabbed for Kelsey. She didn't let him pay for the iPhone though, she told him she had to do it, and with tons of convincing, he let her pay. 

After a few hours of shopping, Dave drove Niyla by the hotel to drop off the things to the concierge for Kels.

Dave then dropped Niyla back off at the restaurant so she could get her car and head to her office.

The day with Dave was unexpected to say the least it was now around one o'clock and I was just heading to the office for the day. I decided to work for a few hours and then I would call Kelsey and head to the hotel and check on her, if she was feeling up to it I wanted her to start staying with me tonight.

I finally got to the office and started to work. I sat at my desk and checked my e-mail first to see all the damage, I was typically on top of my e-mail but I didn't check it at all today and none at all last night. There were a few emails regarding a few homes and offices people wanted me to do and then there was one from Rihanna's assistant asking if I could redecorate her house in Cuba, I already had so much on my plate me going to Cuba seemed completely out of the question. Looking further into the e-mail the amount of money she was willing to pay was something I don't think I could pass up. I could always ask Kelsey to oversee Dave's home project, and I kind of need a small vacation. Derrick and I need some time apart, It's been about a year since he's proposed and nether one of us have even talked about planning the wedding. At this point, I honestly don't even know if he still wants to get married to me. He looks at me with complete disgust sometimes. He makes comments about my weight frequently, I've even started watching what I eat way more and even going to the gym after working a full day sometimes.

I loved him, but he is not the same person I fell in love with, we really needed to have a talk soon. Last month Derrick and I went to a birthday party of one of his employee's I thought we had an amazing time, little did I know Derrick was getting completely f****d up. I ended up having to drive home. We got home and he kept on going on and on about how I was in some guys face when really I was just being nice and having friendly conversations. One thing leads to another and he ended up smacking me in my face. I cried so hard that night. I locked myself in our bedroom for two days. He apologized and promised it would never happen again. I just don't know what our future holds honestly.

Getting a headache I stopped answering e-mails and sent out some invoices to clients. looking at the time it was well after eight o'clock. I didn't even realize I was working so long. I locked up the office and got in the car. Calling Kelsey and asking if I could stop by.

Pulling up to the hotel I parked and headed to her room, getting on the elevator to her room I was so nervous for some reason. I felt so bad for her, I just wanted to help in any way I could. Knocking on the door I pushed the nerves to the back of my head and put on my most convincing smile. She opened the door and I gave her a hug. We sat on the bed and talked, she handed me a piece of paper, unfolding the paper my heart stopped I was so happy for her that she wasn't pregnant. I literally squealed and hugged her so tight.

After that, I thought it would be the right time to ask if she wanted to start staying with me tonight. She said yes,  I told her I'd be right back. I stepped on the balcony to call Derrick.

Hey Derrick, I'm here with my assistant I was telling you about. She really needs a place to stay for a little while, can she stay with us. I asked " Yeah of course Niyla no problem, when will yall be here? I just got home and I'm about to straighten up and take a shower." He said completely surprising me.  Well I just have to get her things and then we will be on our way home, I'll have her stay in the guest room, on the other side of the house so she can have privacy. I said. "Okay see yah soon." He said.

Hanging up I walked back into the room, asking her if she was ready to go, we walked out of the room and got into the elevator. Kelsey had a permanent smile on her face. It melted my heart to see her so happy. Getting off the elevator into the lobby I handed Kels my keys so she could put her things in the car while I checked her out of the room.

The drive home was quicker than normal, when we arrived I showed Kelsey where she would be staying and told her to make herself comfortable. I really just needed a shower after that long ass day. I forgot how much work it was being in control of my own schedule. Before I went to take a shower I went to find Derrick, like I assumed he would be he was in the den watching a movie. I asked him to grab Kelsey's bags and bring them to her room, he got up and headed to my car. Not really caring that he didn't say anything, he was so bipolar sometimes. I walked into my room shutting the door behind me. Walking into the bathroom I stripped out of my clothes turning on the shower so it could heat up. Letting it heat up for a few seconds I stepped in letting the water run over my head and face.
