-Derrick Kelsey's eyes began to flutter open, her eyes were filled with tears. I was so happy she was waking up I began to tear up. The Doctor came in and removed the tube from her mouth, she was coughing slightly. Baby, I'm here don't cry I said standing now more in her view. She looked up at me and broke down more. " Derrick I love you," she said still crying. Shhh baby it's okay I love you more. I said wiping her tears away. "Ms. Bennette how are you feeling, how's your pain on a scale 1-10?" The doctor asked Kelsey as he was shining a light in her eyes. "Umm, my side hurts really bad but other than that I feel okay. "That's to be expected, you had a lot of trauma to your side. We closed up all the bleeding but you will be sore for quite a while. Can you tell me what happened to you?"
