Alexandra’s POV-
Today alone, I had been to the hospital to be checked over, to see Riley, and then cooked dinner for everyone. Before Nicholas showed me that incredible room, it was a beautiful gift. Then Amy went into labour, and I had to help her deliver her pup. I was quite tired, but I would very much like to spend some time alone with Nicholas. The moment he suggested that we have a bath together, I really liked that idea. I needed to relax.
Nicholas led me to our ensuite bathroom. He began running us a bubble bath. As it filled up, Nicholas turned to face me, and asked, “How are you feeling, after this morning? I thought I might have been a little rough, when I fingered you.”
I felt my cheeks turning red, as I whispered, “I feel fine.”
“You are not sore,” he pressed on.
