Alexandra’s POV-
It was nighttime, by the time we got to the pack hospital. I could feel how exhausted Nicholas was, even though he was trying his hardest to hide it. I was glad we got back to our pack when we did. Daniel was with us, and he had mind-linked Jules ahead, so that we could be seen straight away, and Jules could check me over. I was worried about the pups, and I know Nicholas could feel my worry through our bond. He was concerned. But at the same time, Zira was reassuring me that it was our pups using their powers to shield us. However, the pain I felt was very real and left me worrying about them. Zira understood, and given everything we went through, it was best to get a check-up. I suspect Jules would demand that we do one.
