Alexandra’s POV-
After everything, Nicholas and I danced some more. It was so much fun. We had a lot of fun dancing. I could see Eric and Kira were having a lot of fun too. I was so happy she agreed to come and stay with us. I suspected that it was to do with the fact that she is his mate. I know they say alpha mate bonds are strong, but royal mate bonds are even stronger. I could attest to that with the mate bond between Nicholas and me. Every part of my being was telling me to trust Nicholas wholeheartedly and to mate with him straight away. It was hard to fight against what I wanted to do with him, but I managed it, because I needed to heal from what happened between James and I, and I needed to try to save Kayley and her family. Now I am better, and Kayley and Riley are safe. I trust
