I was so excited to finally get to the beach with Nicholas. I was a little nervous about being left alone when he went out on the water. But I knew if anyone approached me, they would either leave the moment I said I have a boyfriend or Nicholas would come and send them running. Nicholas is the kind of guy that is huge and looks outright scary when mad. Not many werewolves would be willing to face him when he gets mad, let alone when it comes to him protecting his mate. With humans, Nicholas could obliterate them if he wanted too, but he wouldn’t, and really shouldn’t, because of the laws. I could not believe my eyes when we arrived at the beach.
