Alexandra’s POV-
Nicholas never said a word, after he told me he wouldn’t leave. I didn’t know what to do, or what to say. I knew this wasn’t my fault, but I suspect he would blame me for this, try to accuse me of running away, when they are to blame. I should never have trusted Tristan, he used to bully Kayley and I, then suddenly he wanted to be friends with us. That much was my fault, I knew he had feelings for me, and though I shut him down, I remained his friend, which gave him the chance for his feelings to grow towards me.
After a few minutes of him holding me, till I myself calmed down, he gripped my hand, a little too tight for my liking, and then dragged me away, I believe back towards the packhouse. It took awhile, to walk there, and not a single word past Nicholas’ lips. I
