About 20minutes I got out of the shower. Didn't even bother to get a towel or to take my wet clothes off, when I opened the door and was face to face with a very defeated Jake. I stood there, dripping on the ground, eyes still full of tears. He didn't move. He didn't touch me. He just looked at me. We stayed like this for a whole 5mintues and I have had enough. I am wet. I am cold. I am now pissed.

"Well are you going to say something, or just f*****g stand there?" I spat at him and raised an eyebrow. This is the frist time I am this angry at him. I'm so mad that there is probably steam rolling off me.

"I'm sorry." He finally said.

"For what?"

"For what Shilo did. I couldn't control him, and for that I am sorry." He hung his head and moved aside so I could move past him.

"It's in the past now. But thank you, I'm just not ready yet. I'm sorry." I said as I walked into the closet.

"You don't need to apologize." He said and grabed my arm.

"I'm the one who should be gettting on my hands and knees begging for your forgiveness. Please tell me what can I do to make it up to you? How can Shilo apologize?" He said with tears in his eyes. I stood there frozen in time. I don't know how they can apologize. I really don't. Because there are so many feelings going on inside of me right now. I guess he is feeling how I am feeling, because next thing I know he's letting go of my arm. I feel his saddness in our bond. I hate this. I walk into the closet and change my clothes. I at least wanted to do that. When I exist the closet Jake is still in the bathroom but his eyes are hazed over. Ok, who is he linking with? I walk past him and sit on the bed until he he done.

"Sorry, but we have another problem." He finally says.

"And whats that?"

"There is activity on the northren border, from another pack."

"Ok- are they friendlies?"

"Rumor has it, they are not." He pauses. " The Dawn Rises Pack are known for being firece warriors, and worse." He said.

"Joy."

"We need to go to the border and see what they want."

"Well, lets get going. How many days?"

"Four Days. Maybe more."

"Got it." I said and began to start packing our bags. its nothing new to me. We must protect the Pack, no matter what. But why now? In the middle of my heat? Great timing. I fininshed packing our bags and Jake carried them down to the SUV. Levi was there waiting for us. I claimed in the passenger seat as Jake in the driver and Levi in the back, as well as a few others.

The drive to the North was long it will take us about 6 hours and we are only 2 hours in. I yawn and try to stretch in my seat.

Jake looks over at me with an apologetic look. He rubs my inner thigh, and I sigh contently. Eventhough we hadn't talked about what happened earlier his touch it is still soothing.

"My love, why don't you get some sleep. We still have a long drive." Jake said as he moved a piece of my hair out my face, then cups my face. I nuzzle peacefully into his hand.

"What about you?" I asked.

"Don't worry Luna, I'll watch over him and keep him up." Levi said grabbing the topps of Jakes shoulders. And with that I slowly silped into a sleep.

Next thing I know I am waking up in a comfy bed, and the room smells of Lavender and Patchouly. I sit up, look around and find that Jake is nowhere to be found.
