Camellia suddenly thought of the first time she met Leon. She was eighteen years old and had just come out of Dominic's headquarters building. She held the secretary-general's rejections in her hand. As she took a few steps, a car came to a halt beside her.
The car window was lowered a little, revealing the man's profile inside. Camellia recognized that this was someone who often appeared in magazines and on TV.
Dominic's boss, Leon.
She was shocked for three seconds before she hastily exclaimed, "Hello, Mr. Harrington."
Respectful and well-behaved, because of nervousness, she twisted the trouser legs of the suit pants she wore for the first time with both hands. The poor-quality trouser legs were wrinkled and deformed under her fingers.
Leon sat in the car, his head slightly tilted, and said indifferently: "Miss, I am very satisfied with your interview just now and want to offer you another opportunity, if you wish."
She looked at it and lowered her head hastily, her eyes fell on the high heels she had just bought for the interview. After thinking for a few seconds, she got in the car.
It's been a decade since then.
Ten years ago, she felt that she and Leon were completely from two different worlds, but she didn't expect it to be the same now.
The tears that Camellia had just suppressed because she couldn't c****x burst out at this moment. Leon put down the phone and smiled, "What's with the tears?" he asked, amusement lacing his voice.
The tone had a gentler touch compared to the previous call, conveying a sense of ease and nonchalance, as if the question being asked was merely casual in nature.
His demeanour remained consistent, showing little regard for trivial matters.
The atmosphere in the car cooled down for two seconds. Camellia sat up and wiped the water from the corners of her eyes with her fingers. Her voice was husky a touch deeper than usual as she confessed, "because of pleasure."
After she finished speaking, she pulled tissues from her side and wiped them without waiting for Leon's reaction. There was also a scattered condom box on the car seat, which had been opened and had two empty bags. Camellia wrapped the bags with tissues and threw them into the trash can, sitting up straight.
Leon was still sitting in the chair, saying nothing, just looking at her quietly.
Camellia experienced a sense of unease as she found herself the subject of his gaze. Leon possessed an unwavering passion within him. Whenever they found themselves alone together, it seemed like his hands couldn't resist exploring every inch of her body within a matter of minutes. Having been cooperative in the past, she found herself drained after a gruelling battle and lacked the stamina for a second round. She simply found the TV remote control before Leon made a move.
The dark space suddenly became bright. The TV was still on the financial channel. This was set by Camellia because Leon would only appear in interviews on this channel.
The previous interview in the store had not yet ended. On the screen, Leon and the person sitting in the secretary chair in front of her gradually matched. Camellia was in a trance for two seconds. Leon sat beside her: "What are you watching?"
"Interview." Camellia said briefly: "Yours."
She could feel a comforting embrace enveloping her. Leon gently wrapped his arm around her waist. Camellia leaned against his broad shoulder, feeling a sense of comfort wash over her. She effortlessly found the perfect position, much like a contented cat, and nestled herself there.
Seeing that she was comfortable, Leon just tilted his head and kissed her on the top of her head.
Camellia's curled body froze, and the water flowed over the place in her heart that was almost dry again, warm and moist, and the place where the water flowed was trembling slightly, and her heartbeat was two points faster.
With a single kiss, she easily succumbs, the divide between them fading away, and the previous discontent fading. Camellia hesitated for a few seconds and then stretched out her hands to hug Leon's waist.
Her nose rubbed against Leon's throat. The sound from the TV surrounded the two of them. Leon lowered his head and saw Camellia staring at the screen. Her eyes were as bright as stars, and the light from the TV made her eyes more watery. She would be like this when she was focused, serious to the point of being a little cute.
Her long hair was slightly messy, and the hair hung in front of her chest, and the ends swayed lightly, like willow branches floating on the water, creating ripples that expanded in mesmerising circles.
Her forehead was plump, brimming with collagen, her cheeks had a blushing hue, her nose was perfectly straight, her lips were rosy, and a light coat of lipstick adorned them, emitting a subtle fragrance.
"What prompted your early return?" Camellia stated.
Before she finished speaking, his lips finding their way to the corner of hers in a tender kiss. Camellia's voice stopped abruptly. Her gaze lifted, her delicate eyelashes creating a delicate veil over her eyelids. Her eyes shimmered with a youthful radiance, drawing people in with an irresistible allure. Her lips trembled, on the verge of uttering words, but then hesitated and shifted ever so slightly.
The two looked at each other, and a palpable sense of tension filled the air once more.
Leon slowly approached Camellia, their lips almost touching, sweet breath lingering around them, Leon said: "Why do you think I came back early?"
Camellia thought for a few seconds: "Is there something going on at the company?"
Leon pecked her lips again, not deeply, just a light taste, and finally said: "It's okay, it's too boring to stay there."
Camellia turned her head, sat up straight, and tentatively said: "Then take me there next time, it won't be boring if you take me there."
Silence from the side, Camellia's bright eyes became darker, she also laughed at herself, but the smile had not deepened yet, and Leon, who was hugging her, said: "Okay, let's talk about it next time."
It's not that it's not possible in the past, but it's good, let's talk about it next time.
Camellia felt a clear feeling of clearing the fog, and the unhappiness just now completely dissipated, and even her smile was much sweeter.
When she smiled, it was like a flower blooming, dispelling the darkness around. Leon stared at her pretty face and said in a slightly lower voice: "Do you have any milk at home?"
Camellia nodded: "Yes, you want some?"
Leon said naturally: "No, you can drink more when you get home."
Camellia was puzzled: "Why?"
Leon pulled her into his arms, smiled. He said slowly with a teasing tone: "Rehydrate."
Camellia:...
