As soon as Penny arrived at work the next day, she went to Glitch’s office and found him busy inputting data into the computer. After completing what he was doing, he looked up and smiled.
“Hi, Penny,” he said. “SunHee wanted me to ask if you and Mr. Darque could come to dinner tomorrow evening; her uncle and cousin have already accepted the invitation. She wanted an occasion where she could thank her friends and family for helping her to start her new life.”
“Thank you,” Penny said. “I don’t like to speak for John, but on this matter, I think I can safely say we’ll both be there. Give me her number, and I’ll call her right away to thank her.”
