Chapter Thirty-Eight
The plane landed on a small runway and immediately taxied into a hangar before coming to a stop.
As Darque exited the craft, he saw a waiting car with the trunk lid raised and turned to Josh.
“I guess it’s my turn to ride in the dark.”
“That won’t be necessary,” Josh said, “but the thought had crossed my mind. Just toss your gear in and we’ll be on our way.”
Once the two men were in the car, Josh explained the protocol they needed to follow to enter the area where the sub was moored, but it basically came down to ‘do what I tell you to do when and how I tell you to do it’.
