Wang Yunshan, the Central Committee member responsible for dealing with operational matters inside the U.S., to include the SunHee Nham problem, was notified by the ship’s captain when the pick-up of Dragon’s escape pod was completed and the ship was safely in international waters.
Yunshan’s orders to the captain were to leave Dragon inside the sealed compartment until the ship docked in China. Once in port, the captain was to bring Dragon to Yunshan’s office.
