The first thing Darque did the next morning was call a meeting in his office with Penny, Bugs and Josh, and it didn’t take them long to show up.
“You may have noticed that I’ve been dejected the last day or so, and I want to take this time to tell you what’s been bothering me. What we pulled off was nothing short of amazing, but how to explain it is a problem. My biggest concern is for the welfare of the people who work here, and the ability to keep our deeds both anonymous and undetectable, and so far, we’ve been able to do that. However, we need to do something to remove the bulls eye from our backs, and I think I’ve come up with a solution that will require the approval of your father-in-law,” Darque said as he turned to face Josh.
