Chapter Ten Sometime during the trip to the bottom of a ravine, the tumbling Chinese car exploded into a ball of flame that attracted the attention of passing cars. Several of the vehicles stopped as passengers called in the wreck to emergency services, but the area was so remote it took a while before the first emergency vehicle arrived on the scene. The time it took to reach the scene was immaterial because even if a fire truck was at the top of the cliff when the car went over, there was nothing it could have done to change the results.
