My brother's best friend

Chapter 3

I got up and took a shower, I was very excited about the party today, since I would take advantage of it to distract myself. I finished taking a shower, I put on some tight pants, a pink short sleeve blouse and some white converse, I went downstairs to have some cereal for breakfast, then I went up to my room to get my backpack, today I had to walk to school since my brother and Joe had left earlier.

School was the same as always, too boring for me, when I left school I went in Joe's car with my brother while we were listening to "Girls Like You" at full volume.

When we got home, I got out of the car without saying goodbye and went inside the house, the smell of hamburgers that my mom had made for us flooded the house so I ran upstairs to my room to leave my backpack and went downstairs to eat with my mom and my brother. After lunch my brother and I played Fornite on the playstation until late in the afternoon.

I went up to my room to change before Mario arrived and decided to put on a blue and black dress and some small heels because I didn't want to get tired. After I got dressed, I put on my makeup and perfume and then I hear the horn of a car, I run downstairs and open the door, I see my best friend Mario in the car.

- Hi Mario. I greet him with a kiss on the cheek.

-Hi

I get in the car and we drive off at full speed.

-Whose party is it?

- Some friends.

-Well,

- How beautiful you look

-Thank you

After about 15 minutes we arrived to a huge house, we got out of the car Mario and I, we entered the house, I went inside and there was an Electronica song, I was just watching the people and Mario with his friends while I was at the bar, suddenly I felt a tap on my shoulder I turned and looked at Joe.

- Hey, what are you doing here?

- I came to accompany Mario.

- How nice, how beautiful you look.

- And who are you with? I ask evading the compliment he just gave me.

- With some friends from the salon

- That's nice

- Would you like to dance?

- Of course I would

We started to dance and suddenly a calmer song came on so Joe grabbed me by the waist and I put my arms around his neck and leaned my head on his shoulder, we started to sway to the rhythm of the song, I just closed my eyes while we were moving. I don't know but I liked being with him knowing that there was 80% that he would play with me and 20% that he wouldn't but I liked him and I felt safe with him I felt protected. The song ended up giving way to candy, his favorite song, when it started to play, Joe and I separated.

I went straight to the bar and ordered a drink while he was dancing with his friends, when suddenly a girl took a small talk from him and they started to dance, at that moment I felt my stomach churning when I saw them together, I just turned around and lost another drink.

Suddenly someone approached me and said

-Jealous?

- No hahaha I turned and looked at my friend Azael.

-He just laughed and left.

After Joe was flirting with the girl for a while, with a few too many drinks in my system, I wanted to do the same, although I wasn't good at flirting with guys, so I pulled up my dress a little bit, since it was sticking you couldn't tell I had pulled it up a little bit and I started to dance, I noticed how Joe was giving us looks but I just kept dancing to the guy, it was very satisfying to see Joe angry, until another music played and I decided to go for another drink, a few drinks later I saw how Joe went to sit on the couch but he was already very drunk; I walked in front of him to look for Mario, suddenly I feel him pull me and I fall down next to him.

-Where to?

-Stay another little while, my little chaparrita. He says in a very slow tone

- No, you're already drunk.

- Of course I'm not

- But I have to go, it's late already.

- Please stay a little longer

- No, I won't

At that moment I feel that Joe gets closer to my face, I was nervous just looking at his brown eyes, he got so close that he kissed me, his lips were so soft and so fleshy and he kissed so well that I got lost in that kiss for a moment, until I realized what was happening and I separated from him and I went looking for Mario, when I finally found him I told him to take me home because I was tired, he agreed on the way we didn't say a single word but I was very thoughtful about the kiss because I didn't know if I really cared about him.

After getting out of the car Mario asked me, Do you like Joe?

- Why do you ask me that?

- Because I saw you kissing him

- I don't know how that happened, he was the one who kissed me.

- Yes, but you let him. Look Scarlet, I'm not going to let him hurt you.

-Thank you for taking care of me.

Mario kissed me on the head before he got back in the car and drove off.

I got in so slowly, I went up to my room quickly, I lay down on my bed and I kept thinking about what had happened but because I was so tired I ended up fast asleep.
