Don't you think that's a little crazy?" Cade says after repeating the entire conversation three times.
"I like crazy." Brooke smiles.
"What about your parents?"
She shrugs.
"My parents will love you. They know times have changed since they were kids. We have been together five months now, it's not the craziest thing anyone has ever done."
"I guess...I'm just worried that if we move in together you'll..."
"Get tired of you?"
Cade nods.
She takes his hands.
"Cade. I am going to make you a promise."
Cade bites his lip.
"Even if we break up, I am still going to be here. I will never let you be alone. I'm always gonna be right here." Cade smiles.
"You need someone to help you and I need someone to keep my feet on the ground." She says.
Cade laughs.
"Okay." He nods. "Let's do it."
She practically knocks him over when she goes in for the hug.
They discuss details that night. They decide Brooke's house would be best, as it is paid off and out of town. It worked out well, since Cade's lease was up next month anyway.
They go to bed excited, like little kids at a sleep over. They talk about gardens and dog houses. Cade has always loved the solidity of Brooke's house. It's quiet with lots of wildlife.
Cade luls himself to sleep thinking about it. Deer in the yard, birds chirping, moonlight caressing the trees. It so beats having a highway fifty feet away.
Brooke lays down a little worried. She loves Cade. If he needs someone to care for him, she will. If this is what it takes. Afterall, it was her idea.
She doesn't let herself think anymore about it that night.
Cade wakes up feeling better the next morning. They had both informed their bosses they would be out of work again last night.
His head is on Brooke's chest. He looks up at her. She is still peacefully tuned out of the rest of the world.
He lays his head back down on her soft breasts. He can't believe it's all his. Cade starts to feel his d**k harden. He moves his hand down, stroking it. He has to hold back a moan. He already needs to c*m so bad. Sleeping like this all cuddled in with Brooke.
He slides his hand into the underwear, they're wet as usual. The tip is popping out of the top. He messages it, suddenly very, very desperate.
He does moan this time, unsure what to do. Normally he would just roll over and hump his hand, but Brooke is right here...
Before Cade has anymore time to think about it, he feels a hand start stroking over the soppy underwear.
He looks up at Brooke, who is smiling softly. She manages to pull the diaper off with one hand. She starts pumping, softly, slowly. Cade's waist jolts up and down with every motion. Then he loses control, and like some crappy scene out of American Pie, he busts his load.
He leans up and kisses her.
"Sorry." He says, blushing.
"You've had a boner all night, Cade. It's a wonder your balls aren't purple by now." She gets up and heads into the bathroom.
Cade cleans up, still a little numb. He wipes the c*m off his arm. He doesn't bother putting clothes on yet. He needs to change.
Brooke washes her face and brushes her hair as best she can with the fine tooth comb.
She walks out to see Cade, who is standing outside the door. She lets him slip in.
She runs out to her car in his robe. She had thrown an extra pair of clothes in, because she has been staying over a lot lately.
It's a basic sundress. White with red cherries on it. Perfect for this Mid May Sun.
Cade stops dead in his tracks when he sees her.
"You look...great..." He says, losing his breath.
Brooke strolls over to kiss him.
"What do you want to do today?" She asks.
Cade shrugs. "Should probably lay low. We are 'sick'"
Brooke thinks.
"We could go down to Aniston. Meet my parents and maybe see some old frie---" she cuts herself off.
"Meet my parents."
Cade's smile fades, but he nods. She side hugs him.
Aniston is only 150 miles from Harlingston, a three hour trip on a two lane highest. It's a pretty drive, through the mountains.
"Are you...okay with that?" Brooke asks after he remains quiet.
Cade nods, still looking unsure.
"Cade, you have to meet them at some point. Especially now that were moving in together."
Cade nods, agreeing.
They decide to take Brooke's car, better gas mileage and there will be no need for four wheel drive in this warm weather.
They stop at the gas station to get snacks on the way out. It's not that far, but the snacks are half the fun of road trips.
Cade grabs a litre of Mountain Dew. Brooke thinks about asking if he is sure about that, but then she remembers he will have a pull up on anyway, incase he does have an accident so she decides to let it go.
It's half way through the drive when Cade starts to writhe in his seat. Wordlessly, Brooke pulls over the car, saving Cade the embarrassment of having to say it. Cade is grateful for that.
He jumps out the passenger door and rips his pants down, it is already dribbling out, dampening the pull up. He finishes relieving himself on the back tire and then steps back in.
"Feel better?"
Cade nods, but he blushes.
"Can you stop before you get to your house? I kinda...wet a little. I just...wanna have a fresh one on when we meet your parents." He tries to find something to do with his hands while he speaks.
Brooke pats his knee then puts her hand back on the steering wheel.
The rest of the drive is pretty quiet. Brooke can tell Cade is nervous.
"You have nothing to worry about, you know." She tries.
"I have plenty to worry about." Cade says with a new found attitude she has never seen before.
She quickly realizes it's not aimed at her as much as it's just his way of coping with the situation. D
She pulls into a rest stop just outside of Aniston. It's empty which makes Cade more comfortable.
He is rummaging through the trunk when he starts yelling.
"s**t! s**t! s**t!" He sounds paniced. Brooke jumps out of the drivers seat.
"What's wrong?"
Cade's whole body is shaking.
"I took the underwear out when I was sick as extras. I didn't put them back in." He starts having a full blown panic attack.
"It's okay, just calm down. Just calm down. You went without them for how many years? You can make it a day, I know you can."
Cade is shaking his head sporadically.
"Not while meeting your parents, Brooke!"
Brooke wraps her arms around him, pushing his head into the crook of her neck. She has found this is the best way to calm his panic attacks. He stops after a minute and then leans back.
"I can't go." He tries his hardest to use his normal voice.
She takes his hand.
"We will get you some new ones."
"Brooke it's Aniston..."
She knows exactly what that means. The only place that might have anything similar would be the tiny supermarket in the middle of town. Where 85% of thier highschool works. There is no way they would get in and out without someone noticing.
"Cade. Relax. We will be at their house. Just make an excuse to go every half an hour. Keep the one on you have and if you start leaking then run."
Cade doesn't look sure but he nods. Brooke kisses his cheek.
"It'll be okay."
Cade looks even more on edge after that. Brooke holds his hand as they drive into town.
Her mom is halfway down the driveway by the time they pull up.
"She has probably been waiting there all day." She laughs.
Cade feels his heart start pounding, he immedietly grabs his crotch, which is getting warm in his hand. Brooke looks over in horror.
It wasn't a ton, but enough to definelty fill it to capacity. That Mountain Dew is definetly catching up with him.
"It's full." He says, starting to panic again.
She rubs his arm. Then steps out of the car. Cade is almost offended for a moment that she didn't say anything, but feeling obligated, he gets out too.
Brooke hugs her mom for a moment, laughing and catching up on thier "I missed you!" Swapping.
"And you! You must be Caden!" She catches him off guard when she hugs him as well. Cade smiles, but anyone can tell he was terrified.
"Cade..." He laughs.
"Cade? Cade!" She gets progressively louder.
"I knew I recognized you! I can finally match a name with a face!" She is happy, then her face kind of contorts, like she is reminiscing on something, then it goes back to happy.
"Well come on inside, guys!" She says enthusiastically.
Brooke ignores her, opening up the trunk of the car. She pulls out Cade's emergency bag and tucks it inside of a big tote bag she had brought with a change of clothes for him, just incase.
"Here, babe, take this inside for me please." She hands Cade the bag.
Cade catches onto what she is doing and takes the bag.
They walk into the house. Cade's mouth drops open at the sight. A seven bedroom log mansion, open living room with a big window. It was no secret Brooke came from money, though she never let it define her.
"Bathroom is door right there, on the left." She points.
Cade nods and hurries in.
Her mom smiles and pulls her over towards the bar stools, fancy beverages already set out in front of them. Brooke takes a sip.
Her mom leans close in her face.
"Is that the kid who wet his pants?" She asks.
Brooke was really, really hoping she wouldn't remember that, but in a town like Aniston, everybody knows everybody. Her parents knew most of his foster parents. Word gets around.
Brooke nods.
"Don't bring it up, okay? He is still really insecure about it and he is already nervous enough."
Her mom laughs.
"Don't you worry about it, hun." She smiles. She knows her mom wouldn't say anything.
"So what made y'all to come down today?"
"Oh, Cade was sick yesterday. So we kinda decided to take a long weekend."
Her mom agrees. "It's nice to get out of town."
They spend the next few minutes talking about dogs and houses and work, when Brooke finally notices how long Cade has been in the bathroom. Great minds must think alike because just then her mom says,
"Is that boy okay? He has been in there for ages."
Brooke nods, getting nervous.
"I should go check on him...he has a...rash...he has to out lotion on it like every half hour."
Brooke's mom laughs so hard she almost snorts.
She doesn't really know why she lied, it's a good excuse for him to have the chance to go the bathroom anyway.
She knocks on the door but let's herself in.
Cade jumps but calms down when he sees it's just her.
"What do I do with this?" He asks, pointing to the wet diaper still on his crotch. Brooke really hasn't thought that far ahead. They can't throw it away, her parents will find it, but if they put it in the bag it will get every thing wet and probably start to stink.
Brooke looks around for a solution when she sees one. She opens the window and tosses it out into the pond in their back yard. It's mostly moss and hasn't been tended to in years. It will be corroded by the time any maintenance is ever done to it.
Cade blinks at her. She hands him the new pair of underwear and he slides them on. They feel soft. It has been a couple weeks now since he has worn real underwear. He slides his pants on and they walk out together.
Brooke's mom is still sitting at the bar, so she coughs up a conversation before her mom can comment.
"So when is dad gonna be home?"
Her mom stands up, not the least bit fazed by the situation. She is usually pretty cool like that.
"Half hour or so. I figured he could take Cade out for a ride on the Rhino and you and I can sit at the tiki bar."
"You're kind of a lush, mom" Brooke holds up the glass in front of her.
Her mom just laughs.
"So, Cade, tell me about yourself."
Cade's head shoots up.
"Oh, uh, I am the manager of the Hardware store up in Harlingston."
"Ohhhh! Well good for you! You're quite the handyman then?"
Cade blushes and bows his head.
"Yes!" Brooke interrupts.
"Well, that's gonna come in handy with this clumbsy thing." She rests her hand on Brooke's shoulder.
"Mom!"
They laugh.
"It's amazing how you two went to school together all these years and never talked to eachother and ended up in the same one-horse town."
Brooke nods.
"Fate has a funny way of doing things though." She adds, then sinks.
Brooke slings an arm around Cade's back. She feels him relax a little.
They bullshit for a little while then suddenly her dad busts through the door, arms full of plastic grocery bags.
"Who wants steak!?" He announces.
He sets the bags down and runs to Brooke.
"Hey, Darlin'! How are ya?" He hugs her.
"Good! Dad this is Cade." She steps aside.
Cade stands up and holds out his hand.
"Caden Belmmmoun---" he studders and appears to lose his balance. Brooke's heart drops. She knows what is happening.
"---t....nice to meet you, sir." Brooke has her eyes fixed on his crotch. A spot no bigger than a good ball arises on the surface but doesn't grow any bigger. She sighs in relief.
"Uh, Cade your medicine?" She says, trying to sound as calm as possible.
Cade catches on fast, excuses himself and makes his way back to the bathroom.
"Kid has no reason to be nervous." He says, unloading a haul of T-Bones big enough to feed a small country.
"He should be terrified." He laughs, side hugging Brooke again.
She laughs kmowing that is all too true.
