Chapter 6- Ciara

905 Words
Declan is… an absolute Godsend. I'm not sure what else to call him, a knight in shining armor? I know I shouldn't be so into him already because he kidnapped me. He hasn't forced himself on me, he's buying me clothes and a new phone, he gave me my first orgasm. This could be Stockholm Syndrome or whatever beauty had in Beauty and the Beast. We talked on the way back to his penthouse about it. I told him about Simon and he didn't look like he liked that information. “Thank you for everything.” I tell him when we pull up to the casino. “I think I'll try to do anything for you princess.” He smiles and gets out of the car. Then opens my door for me and I want to squeal like a little girl. On the ride this morning i found out the little things about him, his favorite color, how he takes his coffee, all the fun stuff. Now I'm about to find out the deeper stuff like his family's business. He told me when we left the shops his lawyer is waiting for us. The valet takes all my bags from the trunk and I thank him with a smile. Declan grabs my hand and we go into the casino together. “So am I allowed on the casino floor after we're married even though I'm not 21 yet?” I ask him with a smile, fully expecting him to say no. “You'll be an owner princess, you can do whatever you like.” He smiles at me and my face heats up. He's so handsome I can't believe he wants to marry me. We reach his floor and he nods at the mountain of a man guarding his door, and I smile and wave but he shows no emotion. The lawyer is sitting in Declans living room with a glass of what looks like whiskey. “Heath, thank you for coming.” Declan reaches for my hand and I give it to him. “This is Ciara, Heath. She has agreed to be my wife, you've already drafted a contract for us?” He asks the scrawny man. I smile and step forward to shake his hand and he steps back as if I've frightened him so I keep my smile in place and take a seat. Declan sits next to me on the couch and takes my hand. I let him, it gives me butterflies. “Well lets uh, begin then. The contract states that if Ms. -Uhh Ciara here marries you Mr. Moretti Sir, she will be a 50 percent partner in the casino and will have the same amount of say in the family business as well.” He says avoiding eye contact the whole time. I don't know how to feel about all of this, my head is spinning. I get up and pace. I barely even know this man let alone love him. I thought I would find a job, get a place, fall in love with someone and then get married. I mean I just learned the man's name from his Lawyer, am i sure this is something I want to do? I look at Declan and ask “What if I can't marry you right now?” and he gets up and gently holds my shoulders. “I can prove to you the rest of our lives how dedicated I am to you Ciara.” That solidifies what my decision is. I want to try this with Declan, and see who I can become. “Alright. Let's do this.” I tell Heath. He shows us where to sign on the documents. After the lawyer leaves I go to the guest room I slept in and shower in the en suite. I changed into a pair of purple sweatpants and a matching tank top. I let my wet hair dry down and went out to the living room. Declan is in the kitchen though preparing dinner. Not at all what i expected. “You can cook too?” I ask him. He looks up at me with a smile “Of course. I can do everything.” He smirks and I blush heavily. “What are you making? Can I help?” I ask but he shakes his head no so I sit on a stool at the island. “I'm making us steak, and baked potatoes for dinner and salsa with chips for my Beautiful princess to snack on while she waits.” My blush will never leave if he continues to talk to me so sweetly. But I end up thinking about my steak and potatoes that made me leave behind everything I knew. I don't hear Declan coming to my side until he takes my face and wipes tears I didn't know I had let fall. “What's wrong Ciara?” His voice is soft but stern. “Just remembering the last time I made steak and potatoes. It wasn't a very happy night. The complete opposite of tonight.” he smiles at me, my face still in his hands and says “this night will only get better.” We eat dinner and talk which leads us into the living room and talk some more. About everything and anything, learning about each other. Eventually I fall asleep in his arms on the couch.
