Laying wrapped up in the blankets, I remain terrified and crying. "If they find out where we are, they'll hurt everyone here," I tell my wolf, "why did the moongoddess bring us back," I tell her.
"Adriana, maybe she did because she knew we'd be safe here, mate will protect us," my wolf says, "you did nothing wrong, besides they killed you," she says. "They may think you are still dead," she says trying to reassure me.
I hear the door nob giggle, "baby are you in there, please open the door," I hear Brian say.
I climb out of the bed, shaking, I open the door and run back to the bed and hide under the covers. I feel the bed dip as he sits down.
"Baby, what's wrong," he asks. "The....they will kill me," I say, trembling.
"Who," he asks, growling. "The....the Blue Moon Pack," I cry. "What," he growls. "You remember everything don't you," he asks.
I pull the blanket off my head, "I was watching a movie with Maggie, and I remembered everything half way through, I got scared and came here," I tell him, still trembling.
"Ok let's start with your name, baby," he says. "I don't know if I should," I look at him, tears fall from my face, landing on the blanket.
"Come here," he says patting his lap. I crawl to him, still trembling. He wraps his big protective arms around me. "You are safe, no one is going to harm you or the pack," he says, "you can tell me baby, please tell me everything," he says.
I sniffle and snuggle into his arms. "I was a mistake, my Dad never wanted me, so he made me a slave." Brian growls.
"He allowed the pack to do whatever they pleased to me, r**e me, beat me, you name it. He never claimed me, so everyone thought I was just an orphan he took in." I was interupted again by Brian's growls, his body shaking in anger.
"The room, I explained to you, it was my room, the bed, blankets, everything about that room was moldy,musty and had my blood everywhere," I told him, "it was my he'll."
"I couldn't take it anymore, but I ran, I was outside, I was suppose to be hanging the packs laundry, because it was a nice day, but I ran, I remember him yelling to capture me, but I made it outside the packs territory, then he said if I can't be captured alive then kill me, it's when everything went black," I pause, waiting for him to want me to go on.
When he's done growling, he looks at me, my tears long gone, at this point. "Please go on," he says.
"I told you everything that happened, after everything went black, about the moongoddess, she sent me back, wanting better for me." He nods his head, "yes you told me," he says.
"The only thing you don't know is my name and who my father is," I tell him. He nods, "baby, please tell me," he says, tears in his eyes.
"I'm Adriana Wright, daughter of Alpha Wright, Alpha of the Blue Moon Pack."
