Pulling out her cell phone, she held it up. “I’m going to call Grant and ask him where it is.” She started to speed dial, but Brodie plucked the phone out of her hand before she could connect the line. “Two pieces of advice,” he said, giving the phone to Art, who took it away toward the couch. “First... and this is more of a house rule... don’t ever call anyone outside the Kindred Circle from this house, you hear me?
