Chapter 5 Birds sang outside the window, and a thin bar of sunlight slipped in between the heavy textured cotton of the drapes. Will cracked an eyelid and blinked at his surroundings, suddenly hit by the impression that he was late for something. But then his gaze slid over to his left, and he saw Rosemary sitting on the chair by his bedside, head drooping over her chest so that her heavy, curly hair completely obscured her face. However, he could tell by her posture that she must be asleep. And no wonder.
