-Claire’s P.O.V.- “They are…” Eliza trails off, biting the cookie again, then pausing. “Hmmm.”   Jake stares at her, expectant. He hadn’t put on an apron while cooking, so the flour was covering the front of his shirt. It wasn’t his fault, really. Eliza was the one who got enthusiastic and got him covered in it, but it was still a funny sight.   “They are alright,” she finally concludes, shrugging.   “Alright?!” Jake bursts out, gesturing towards the plate of cookies. “You nearly ate the whole batch.”   “Well, excuse me,” Eliza says, placing her hand on her hips. “I was being a good judge. Have you not seen any cooking show?”   “No.”    “Well, that explains everything, doesn’t it?” She turns to me, making a face that says, ‘can you believe this guy?’. I simply smile.   Jake
