LACIE POV:
I woke mom up quickly and told her what’s going on and shocked she hurriedly agreed to stay at the Langley's as we suggested, it wasn’t that much different of a drive to the hospital from our house so it won’t be a burden. As much I wanted her to NOT go to work she just shook her head and said it’s her duty as a nurse to help those in need. She said she would keep an eye out for anything off but since it’s a human hospital she doubts anything will happen. After packing a small bag we go throughout the house locking the windows and pulling the shades so our house is safe before double checking the locks and leave to go to the ranch. Pulling up through the gate we make our way to the house where Tom happened to be walking out of as we pull up.
