‘Ben just stop being an ass, we don’t need to make a scene with the boy’ my wolf Baron said. ‘I can’t help it he makes me agitated. How does such a young inexperienced wolf have so much power’ I questioned. ‘All will be revealed soon, just be patient’

After the introductions my wife invited the family over for a private dinner so we could all get to know more about each other. I mind link our cook and let her know of the impromptu gathering. I’m not sure how I feel about a non wolf becoming Luna to this pack, I’ve worked to hard to get us where we are. We are wealthy and well respected among our kind and I just don’t want to lose our standing in the community. I know there are many that would deny having this kind of union. I will have to confir with the elders on this maybe they can give me answers.

‘Ben dear, let’s head home and relax before dinner. It’s been an eventful morning’ my wife giggled. Looking at her she is my heart, I am grateful the moon goddess blessed me with her. It was a very dark time for us both when we first met. My first mate was murdered by her father and hers rejected her because of her rank, warriors daughter is nothing to scoff at.

As we turn to leave Margaret catches my eye and smirks at me, something in her eyes makes me uneasy. What is that witch up to?

I know the Luna is very fond of having my skills around but I am getting tired of waiting for the one to finally arrive. It is my destiny to guide him, teach him what he needs to know to be able to save the our world. Though since we arrived here at this house I believe my wait may finally be over! He’s a handsome and powerful young man. He looks just like his father, and his fathers father. He reminds me so much of my husband Rutherford. No one knows but I am this young mans great-great- great grandmother. No one knows my true age or identity as I have been using an anti ageing spell to keep me looking a little younger. Hopefully he will be joining the family tonight and I can spirit him away and test his skills a little. I catch the Alpha looking at me and smirk at him. If I am right he better hope Miguel doesn’t do anything to his sweet little mate or he’ll be in for a world of hurt. I can already tell that this young man would rip him limb from limb should he hurt her. Though she herself is strong and could easily make anyone her victim. I will have to watch her and make sure those she-wolves after her mate don’t turn her destructive. We need a pure and kind Luna.

I can see this Alpha doesn’t exactly approve of the pairing, I glance at Jackson and he is staring at the old woman with curiosity. As everyone says a good bye I gather my wife in my arms and kiss her cheek.

‘Let’s go out to the garden for a little while my love’ pulling her along with me she doesn’t protest. ‘What do you think about all this?’ I question her as we sit on the porch swing. I can see in her eyes she is very happy for our daughter.

‘Well he seems kind and I can see in his eyes he’s already completely in love with her. I can feel he is pure of heart and will protect her with his life. Though I doubt it would come to that she is already so strong for her age and her powers are only going to get stronger.’ She sighs contentedly. I kiss her again and snuggle closer. I congur up a little wind to rustle the wisteria growing above us and start humming our wedding song, why we chose Aerosmith’s I don’t want to miss a thing still makes me chuckle. The smell of the wisteria taking me back to before we brought Jackson back from the wreckage. I miss the simple life we had when it was just Amelia, Beth and myself. But fate had other plans.

Jackson

Looking at the witch the alpha brought I feel a sense of familiarity. Something about her eyes, I feel as though we may be connected somehow. Teirny also feels a bond ‘we’ll figure it out Jackson, soon to I can feel it’ he claims. Knowing my wolf isn’t alarmed or threatened by this woman puts me at ease. Now I can focus on Amelia and Miguel. I turn to look at both of them, you can see they both have stars in their eyes.

“Guess we’re kinda brothers now huh?” I say focusing on the alpha to be.

“I suppose that’s true” Miguel exclaimed a little nervously. “I really am sorry for my dads behaviour. I hope you’ll excuse him, he’s got it in his head that our bloodline is superior to most others.”

‘Think nothing of it, I’m sure once he steps down he’ll calm down some” I say. Hoping that I’m right. I don’t want to hurt his family because I know it would hurt Amelia.

“Okay guys. How about we go get something to eat at Henry’s.’ I suggest.

‘Like a breakfast date?” Amelia questioned. I wanted to learn more about Miguel’s pack and wanted Amelia there so she to could learn about what she was going to be getting into.

‘Yeah sure, if that’s what you want to call it.’ I chuckled.

“Hey Amelia just let your mom and dad know we are going to head into town. I think they went out the back to the garden.” She nods in acknowledgment and heads to the sliding door. When she returns we all head out to my Jeep to drive into town for breakfast.
