Freya’s POV I was supposed to meet Kael in a private room at the back of the Italian restaurant. As I stepped out from the back seat of the car, I noticed the dim glow from the large glass windows in the front of the building created a romantic ambience. Many of the couples inside held hands and leaned toward one another. This wasn’t the kind of atmosphere I needed tonight with Kael.
