Clearing out Clarise’s apartment fell to the Estate. The former lawyer was named in her will as the Executor. Unfortunately, that lawyer was in deep trouble with his law society and had stepped down. Therefore the courts appointed a new attorney in the interim. The new lawyer, Mark, and Oliver were given the responsibility of removing their aunt’s belongings on the third week in August, some of which were worth millions of dollars, cataloging them, appraising, and storing them under court supervision. Her condo at Tofino on Vancouver Island had to be cleared out as well and sold. A property company in Victoria was given that responsibility.
