Cold air rushed past my face as the hidden door closed behind us. For a moment, the world was nothing but darkness and the sound of our footsteps echoing through a narrow corridor. The masked figure holding my wrist moved quickly, pulling me forward with confident precision. Whoever they were, they knew this building very well. “Slow down,” I said quietly.
