When we got back to our room, Ezra sat me on the floor and I shifted. “That was amazing. Thank you for that,” I said as I stretched. I felt a very dull ache in my muscles, but it was a good kind of ache. The kind that lets you know that you had a very effective workout.
I headed straight for the shower and was surprised when Ezra followed me into the bathroom. “I’m just gonna get a quick shower before dinner. I can smell the creek water in my hair,” I told him as I leaned in to start the water to warm.
“I’ll join you, since I not only smell of creek water but wet dog too,” he snickered.
“You know if you join me, it won’t be a quick shower,” I complained. It wasn’t that I didn’t want to have s*x, but I’m hungry and can feel my mood souring as a result.
