“Have you heard what happened yet?” Tasha asked her sister while we sat at the dining table late the next morning.
“You mean with Camille? Yes, I did. She was in really rough shape. But Master Ezra gave her more than enough chances to change and apologize,” Trisha replied.
“I can’t believe that Adrian didn’t just kill her and put her out of her misery. Can you imagine trying to survive in such conditions? I mean, if she makes it into the city, people will run away in horror when they see her. I would kill myself if it happened to me,” Tasha replied.
