CHAPTER #24
“WHERE AM I”
BRIDGETTE’S POV:
I felt my body linger in a semi-conscious state. I could smell a sterile environment around me and could tell the room was lit even with my eyes still closed. I heard a beep in the background, was that a heart monitor? Had something happened to me? I turned my head and felt a stiffness in my neck, causing my hand to responsively reach up and feel for the small lump at the side of my neck. What happened to me? My eyes fluttered open slowly as I became fully conscious. Other than a slight headache and the lump on the side of my neck I was fine, or so I believed.
What happened anyhow, my memory was limited. I had gone to Starbucks, then went back to my hotel where that strange Alpha had been following me. I sat up quickly and found both my hands
