LUCCA’S POV:
I knew Evan was behind this from the get-go. He and his father showed entirely too much interest in Bridgette, especially Evan’s father for my liking. Additionally, the rumor that Evan and his father were collecting breeders didn’t sit well with me. The fact that it was immoral and disgusting, not to mention illegal per werewolf law made me wonder if the rumors were just that, however Evan’s odd behavior since the death of his mate made me ponder if the rumors were indeed true. And if I were collecting females, Bridgette would be one on the top of my list, risky or not.
