s**t.
She was naked in the middle of her new room and there was a demon.
She could have sworn the aura was the sameas the one on Buì Island. But how could she not immediately notice a dragon in such a room, however large?
She was about to touch the crystal ball again when something unnaturally fast blocked her wrist: a hand. A human hand.
The woman reacted instantly by turning toward the person and grabbing his throat. "Nigh!"
"No!" The intruder had time to scream. He was thrown against the curved wall, but got up immediately.
He was far too human to be a demon, but his eyes were completely black, including sclera, betrayed him.
She gathered her energies and drew on the power of the Island to cast another purifying spell directly on his pale forehead surrounded by raven hair.
"I saved your life!"
His voice caused shivers of pleasure down her back and lower abdomen irritating her and the spell went out of control. He avoided it easily but he couldn't have been faster than the speed of light: lightning caught him but it didn't do any good except to slow him down a little. The lightning came out of the magician's hand and continued to strike him without stopping his advance, even though the expression of effort on his face was clear. She increased the intensity using her other hand as well.
"You must listen to me!" He was struggling, but he was too close. He undoubtedly had staggering resistance to pain.
"I need your help! I don't mean you any harm. I swear! "
The situation appeared to be almost identical as in the canyon a few hours earlier. Only the more he spoke, the more she felt as if a thousand hands caressed her skin wisely everywhere. Cathleen wanted the demon dead.
She drew a great amount of energy from the Island and prepared to transform it into purification as the man collapsed on his knees begging her with again human eyes.
If he was trying to deceive her, he was very wrong. His black leather armour was now shredded and part of his well trained chest and his legs, certainly elastic and powerful, were visible. He didn't have a scratch.
She directed the energy into the lightnings with anger: "LOCH GLAN, NIGH!"
Something very heavy knocked over the woman who instinctively attacked the source of the disturbance. A powerful roar pierced her eardrums and pain and fear prevailed: she released all the magic around her creating continuous powerful purifying shock waves. The lion was pushed away and she tried to get up confused by the pain in her ears and the sudden silence.
The demon was down on the ground, this time wounded, and looked worried at his familiar. He screamed something to her but she couldn't hear and couldn't understand. Nor did she care.
The intruder tried to get close to the majestic feline who fainted near the bed, which prevented him from going anywhere else with every shock wave. She cast another purifying spell on him, desperate, but she couldn't hit him. Her strength was running out. She wanted to cast another one, but something inside her held her back and she finally fainted.

When she opened her eyes the mage felt numb. There wasn't a muscle that didn't hurt her.
She didn't immediately realize where she was, but the malignant presence was still there, taking her back to the last moments before she lost consciousness.
"You're awake! I was getting worried. I found you passed out with bleeding ears. I had a stroke. "
She could hear. Did he heal her?
In front of her she saw her smiling Academy friend with his arms folded.
"Itchy! Did you cure me? " She began to examine her body, looking at herself, noting she was still naked, covered only by a sheet.
"Of course! What was I supposed to do? But what happened? It seems that there was an explosion in this room. ”
The sorceress got up to throw herself into his arms and kiss him passionately. The blond man, after a second of surprise, reciprocated with transport. She took off for a moment staring at his blue eyes with an enigmatic expression and then kissed him again.
The man suddenly tried to push her away in pain. Without hesitation she had infused the kiss with all the purifying magic she could.
"Ditrietch could not have entered this room without my permission, especially since he has not yet graduated. Besides, he wouldn't know how to work a healing spell in a million years. Not to mention the fact that if he had found me naked, I would most likely have woken up with his hands on me and not covered politely with him at the edge of the bed. "
She circled around him studying the misterious intruder as he collapsed to the floor with his own hands around the neck.
"What are you? You radiate the aura of a demon. Of the demon dragon I met on Buì Island. But you look like a human. And you also took the form of my friend. Why do you persecute me? And don't try to pull out your lion or I'll fry him. "
He gave her an icy stare with blue eyes that have now turned completely black. Of course, he couldn't talk now.
She drew more energy from the island and spread it all over the room like a thick purifying mist.
"Sciath Chosanta"
The stranger was released and surrounded by a shield. Breathing deeply, he cleared his throat.
"You have incredible skill. You can almost stand up to me. Lucky for you I'm rusty after sleeping all that time."
"Speak, since you wanted it so badly." Her tone was dry and firm while she was wearing a nightgown quickly. Luckily all her stuff had already been taken there.
"I am a demon and I am a dragon. "
“And why do you have human form?"
"You don't know much about dragons, do you?"
"And you don't know much about the world today."
She felt he was undoing a spell so he returned to the form she had first seen him in the room. His long raven hair fell on his shoulders, his well-groomed beard appeared on a noble and very handsome face. Itch's blue eyes turned brilliant light grey. His figure became much more muscular and developed, and his skin much paler.
Now that she allowed herself to observe him better, she greatly appreciated what she saw but hated what his presence made her feel.
"How can you feel my demon’s side? It's rare that anyone can. Even among your people." Her disgust must have been obvious.
"You're not answering me.”
“I won't tell you anything if you don't agree to help me."
"If you know my people, you know that I'm waiting to kill you just because I'm curious as a scholar of this Academy." He laughed amused as if he had heard a joke.
"I cannot die on this island. Tell me what you know about dragons. Then I'll know where to start."
"Surely I know more about demons since dragons are almost extinct. And I know for a fact that your kind is the best liar in existence. So why should I believe you?"
The demon sighed and sat cross-legged on the floor.
"It'll be a long conversation considering your attitude. If I wanted to kill you, I'd have already done it on Buì Island."
The girl frowned, irritated. "Why should I help you? Let's start from here."
"I saved your life from those trolls. I think I even helped you with your test for the Academy. Or so I understand.“
"Well, thank you, but I didn't ask you to. It doesn't count as a contract with a demon. And you are not going to be able to leverage my sense of appreciation. You're all the same...”
“If you will help me, you would have a chance to kill a high-ranking general of Dubh Island. Don’t you think that’s honest?"
Cathleen didn't feel a lie in his words. Arrogance, yes. But no lie. She still didn't let her guard down and stood ready to cast a spell.
"Attractive, but I have other plans for my future."
"What other plans does a Duine Bàn have? I'm surprised to find you in this Academy, actually."
"It's none of your business."
"Ooh! Then you too can have a little darkness in your heart. I can feel it. Both as a dragon and a demon. Sounds like a heavy burden."
The young sorceress was doing everything to hold back her anger and disgust but his constant provocations were quite painful.
Her body began to shine again.
"I think I hit a nerve."
"Sleànna solais!" she growled.
The fog crystallized into many small spears that burst towards the demon at high speed. They stabbed him like a pinpoint while he remained immobile. His blood was dark blue and ran all over his body wetting the floor.
"What the..." her astonishment made her hesitate, giving her opponent a chance.
Suddenly she no longer felt the floor beneath her feet and a strong hand was around her neck. But he didn't squeeze too tightly.
"I don't want to hurt you, but you're boring me. I've been tortured enough in my life. Can we have a dialogue so that we can understand each other? Dubhar woke up in your presence. So you're probably the only one who can help me in all of Gaia. I don't want to have to threaten to kill your little blond friend just to be heard. Your people were once more sympathetic. "
The girl watched in horror as his wounds closed at a surprising speed. Huge holes that passed through him were rebuilt in an instant.
Her heart was beating very fast and she no longer knew how to get out of the situation.
Also, the feeling of nausea increased as the contact with him continued. But he saw from her red eyes that she hadn't stopped fighting. He was pleased.
"I would say that Dubhar chose well. This fighting spirit of yours will be useful against her. I admit it also turns me on..." A shadow of lust passed over his gray eyes.
"Can I leave you now or you want to attack me again?" They both stared into each other's eyes as he slowly took his hand off her neck and laid it on the ground. She was trembling with rage.
"If I can't beat you, how can I defeat who you want me to kill? And why me?" she asked as she tied her now white hair. If she couldn't do anything to kill him, she might as well try to survive by doing what he asked... if it was something reasonable. Listening to his story seemed ok.
"Cathleen, you're a diamond in the rough. Fate has put us in each other's way for a reason."
He approached her with a muffled step, watching her like a moth attracted by fire. He picked up a white lock of hair that had escaped her and gently placed it behind her ear.
A little uncomfortable, she walked away from him. She didn't understand how she could feel so disgusting and, at the same time, that voluptuous desire, every time he opened his perfect lips.
"Can you stop using glamour or whatever it is? It's... disturbing. Just tell me what you needed to
tell me. "
He smiled lasciviously and then let himself fell on the bed.
"Sit down at least. I'll tell you a bedtime story."
