Who Hurt Her?

ASHERS POV

"PACK MEETING NOW!!!!" my voice booms through the pack link as I storm out of my room and head straight for the meeting grounds behind the pack house.

"Whats wrong son talk to me why are you calling a pack meeting without asking me?" my father asked through the link.

"whoever did that to Zoey hurt her bad she is in a comma and had to have eight stitches dad, on top of that she is my mate and future luna once she accepts me" I mind him with anger coursing through the link.

"ok son I get that but what if was a accident or they didn't know she was to be luna?" he trys to reason with me

"even so she is still a member of this pack! that kind of ACCIDENT is unacceptable!" I answer in a rage

"ok son I understand its time you start making the calls since you have found your mate you will be alpha ill start planning the alpha crowning ceremony" he replies in a defeated tone.

I'm the first one to reach the meeting grounds and I go up on the stage and wait for the pack to gather. Only ten seconds after I arrive Mat my soon to be beta arrives and stands to my right.

Soon after more and more pack members arrive and I notice that Brenda still hasn't shown up and she was just at the pack house not even fifteen minutes ago in my room claiming to be my mate when I told her she is not my mate. So how come she isn't here? I think to myself.

"Ash whats wrong man?" Mat leans in closer and asks me.

"I found my mate last night it didn't go so good cause I was in shock and I made a plan to surprise her today, but instead I had a run in with Brenda in my room her claiming to be my mate again and I told her I'm not her mate I found my mate and to get the hell out of my room." I say getting pissed remembering

"Damn so why the meeting though?" he asks

"After she left my room and I finished getting ready I went to the kitchen to get something to eat when I noticed it was passed time for her to meet me" I said.

"yeah thats weird we all know she likes to be on time for everything, but what's that got to do with the meeting?" Mat asks

"Thats when I noticed her smell mixed with the scent of blood so I followed the smell to the second floor which is for the gammas family. I follow the smell the the spare bathroom at the end of the hall. There was so much blood around her and she was slumped over the tub, it looked like she was passed out or cleaning it, it was a horrible sight" I said

"What the hell! how is she now?" Matt asks

"whoever did that to Zoey hurt her bad she is in a comma and had to have eight stitches Mat on top of that she is my mate and future luna once she accepts me" I tell him upset

"congrats man I knew she'd be your mate I'm happy for you, but are you sure Brenda did it?" he congradulates me and asks at the same time.

"All the evidence points to her. She was in my room not even twenty minutes ago and now she isn't here when she should have been first one here. She was pissed when I kicked her out saying I found my mate and she could have put two and two together if she saw Zoey on her way up to the office so early in the morning and decided to try to get her out the picture before she accepts me as her mate." I tell him getting pissed again.

"yeah it does make sense, she would try to get Zoey out the picture but how can we be sure?" he asks

"Because once she shows up if she's in different clothes why would she change? and imma tell the pack she's my mate and what happened. If she did it she'll be pissed if she finds out she was right and that her plan to get rid of her didn't work, that's all I'll need to prove it's her" I tell him

"Why would she do that to her?" he asks

"Because she's been trying to become luna of this pack for years now! she even goes around trying to give out orders like one. so now that she knows I found my mate she's gonna do everything she can to take her out of the picture thinking ill choose her as my chosen mate if she does." I explain to him

"Everyone is here but her?" Mat says gaining my attention to the crowd.

I look out at the crowed and notice everyone is here but not Brenda. I can see everyone is nervous trying to figure out why I am calling a pack meeting.

"well I see everyone is here except for one person I guess she feels she's so special that this meeting doesn't concern her. But unfortunately its does it concerns all of us since it involves my mate I just found last night and your future luna." I say and pause for a moment letting them absorb that piece of information.

"Now since she can't follow simple instructions I am sending my beta to get her " I turn to mat and tell him.

"No problem" he says

"I'll drag that b***h back if she doesn't want to corraperate with me" he mind links me

"I don't care how you get her here just do it" I link him

" Yes sir, I will make the she is here in the next ten minutes, you can time me if you want" Matt smiles at me as he dashes off and is out of site in the pack house in the blink of an eye.

" There is no point in that you'll be back before ten minutes" I laugh at him

"now as I was saying I have found my mate your luna last night after I came home with my father" I say to them as they are looking at me first with fear but now with joy and happiness.

"sir don't you think we should wait for beta matt and gamma brenda" amy the cook says to me

"no need they both already know but the reason I called this meeting is because your luna is now unconscious because someone hurt her but I'll wait for them to explain that" I say just as five minutes passes and I see matt dragging a pissed off brenda across the yard on her ass by her feet and can't help but laugh out loud.
