Josh never seemed pressed to find his mate and I envied that of him. He just sat in the corner of the library I chose to search, cool as a cucumber, reading a book. If I was being honest with myself, I wasn't really out for the search anymore. It was just an excuse to stay away from home so I wouldn't have to face Matthew or Elena.
I didn't want to go home and see them all cute and couple-y. I had also wanted to avoid the break-up, but since I was making it hard for Matthew to break up with me by not answering his calls, he sent me a long break up text a couple of days after Elena left me.
