Jocelyn My anxiety was skyrocketing. I could feel a headache forming just in the center of my forehead and I clenched my teeth. I stared out of the windshield of my convertible at Elena's house and took a deep, shaky breath. So many good memories were made just there in her front yard. I admired the tire swing hanging from the tree in the front yard. I remembered when Elena's dad had put it up for us before he left. We had used the crap out of it, swinging each other around and around until we were dizzy. Elena had never been able to swing me for long with her spaghetti noodles arms, but she had tried her hardest. I smiled and took another breath.
