Lucas POV
Classes are finally done! I can’t wait to see my Sienna. Every class after lunch seemed to last for hours. I just want to be close to her. Even if I just watch her read her book, I’d be alright with that. She is so beautiful to look at, even with all those bruises. Her lips are so plump, I really want to kiss her again, and not hold back. I hope she’ll be ready someday soon to accept my love.
I need to rush out if I don’t want to miss her before she leaves school. But I have to talk to Mike first.
“Hey, sexy!” Oh no… What does she want now?!
“What do you want Lana?” I say in with an annoyed expression.
Didn’t she get that hint yesterday?! I’m not interested in her! Never was, and sure as hell never will now! She’s such a b***h! I can’t believe she thinks I’ll make her 3rd in command when I’m Alpha, just because her dad is my dad’s 3rd in command. She must be insane.
“Oh, come on, don’t be like that.” She whines.” I know you didn’t really mean to grab me like that yesterday. You must know what kind of freak she is by now. You’re so much better off rejecting her! Your worth way more than her!” She says with a disgusted face, talking about MY Sienna! If she actually thinks I’ll ever give her the time of day, she really is insane!
Stepping really close to her face, making myself taller, I use my strongest alpha voice.
“YOU BETTER WATCH YOUR MOUTH! I WARNED YOU YESTERDAY, AND I’M NOT GOING TO MAKE IT A HABIT OF HAVING TO REPEAT MYSELF EVERYDAY! DON’T YOU EVER TALK ABOUT MY MATE, YOUR FUTURE LUNA, LIKE THAT EVER AGAIN. IF YOU EVER TRY AND MISTREAT OR BULLY HER IN ANY WAY, YOU’LL NEVER GET TO SEE YOUR 18TH BIRTHDAY!! DO I MAKE MYSELF CLEAR?!”
She looks at me with glossy eyes and whimpers, taking off running, crying at the same time.
I hope she finally got the point. My wolf, Alastair says.
Taking a deep stabilizing breath, trying to calm myself down. I don’t want to scare Sienna when I see her. She seems under too much stress as it is, I don’t want to add my bad mood in the mix.
“Do you think she’ll finally get the hint, after all the years chasing after you like a lost puppy?” Mike says, walking up next to me.
“I sure hope so, Mike. She’s like a bad rash that won’t go away!” I say rolling my eyes.
Looking back at him, he seems nervous for some reason. I wonder if it’s about this situation with Lana?
“What is it, Mike? You’ve got something on your mind?” I ask curiously.
“I’m a little worried about Lana.” He says to me.
Why would he worry about her? Alastair questioned, a little confused.
“I’m not worried about her really, but about what she might do to Sienna. She’s been after you since we were 8 years old. Do you really think you, telling her you’re not interested in going to make her stop? That she’s not going to let her anger take over and try pulling some crap on Sienna? She’s going to need to be closely monitored, you know that, right?” He says, looking at me intensely.
I hate to admit it, but he’s right. Lana’s never been kind to any girl trying to get close to me. She always felt like she had veto on me.
Witch she NEVER had in the first place!
The only girl she never was able to chase away is Amy, Because Amy beat her ass so badly in kindergarten, she never tried pulling any of her crap on Amy again after that!
“Well keep a close watch on her, and if it becomes a bigger problem, we’ll involve the Alpha and Luna then,” Mike says to me.
“Sound like a plan. Now I have to go, I want to see Sienna before she leaves school.”
Arriving outside, I spot Sienna. My smile fades a little when I notice she looks scared. s**t! Is she being bullied? Heading over much faster, I hear her say.
“It’s ok… I’m sorry too, f-for being this nervous… I’m not used to talking to people other than the teachers. “
What the hell!? Its Amy! I told her not to overcrowd Sienna with her millions of questions! She never listens!! What the hell do I have to do for her to get that Sienna is not like everyone else?
“Sienna? Amy! What the hell! Tell me you did not just ambush her after I told you not too!”
I’m so mad right now. It must show on my face because Sienna’s next move surprises me. She puts herself slightly in front of Amy.
“I-it’s not her fault, Lucas! III w-was just n-nervous talking with s-someone else! D-don’t b-be m-made at her p-please!” She pleads to me.
What the hell?! Does she think we’re going to hurt Amy? Alastair askes, a little hurt, but worried about Sienna at the same time.
s**t! Your right, she might think that after what she’s been trough. What I believe she’s been through. What was I thinking, yelling at Amy in front of Sienna like that!?
“I’m sorry, Sienna, I didn’t mean to scare you, but I asked Amy not to bombard you with her millions of questions and antics! She never listens, I should have known” I say, laughing out loud.
I hope she believes me.
“Amy and I go way back,” I say slightly pushing Amy with my shoulders. “We grew up together, so she’s like my annoying little sister that keeps meddling in my affairs!” I say making a funny face at her, while Amy pulls out her tongue at me. We burst out laughing.
Sienna let’s out a little laugh, making Amy and I turn her way. She stops, turning bright red.
“Sorry…” Turning to Amy with a different expression of her face she says
” Hi Amy, it’s n-nice to meet you. I’m Sienna, but you already k-knew that… T-Thanks for asking If I was ok… I will be now… “ She seems so nervous, twisting her fingers like that.
I don’t know what they were talking about before we got there, but the introduction she just gave, makes Amy moves to grab her hand, but I stope her.
“Amy,” I say, a little sternly “Please don’t grab at her like that. I don’t like it.”
I know she doesn’t like being touched. I know I scared her shitless when I did. I don’t want Amy to make her run away.
“It’s ok Lucas, s-she doesn’t know…”
She seems to have realized something because she looks at her watch and panics a little. Looking at me she says.
“I really wish I could stay here, talking with you longer, but I have to get home.”
She doesn’t look like someone who wants to leave. Alastair says.
I don’t want her to either buddy.
“OMG, I’m so sorry for talking so much and keeping you here!! What a blabbermouth I am!” Amy says putting her hand in front of her mouth.
Amy can be so mellow dramatic sometimes. It makes my head hurt.
“You got that right” I whisper, earning an elbow to the ribs.
“You be nice mister future Alpha, or no maple crème Brule for you tonight!” Amy threatens.
“No!! Please! I want some, you know that my favorite dessert!!” I wine like a baby.
Sienna turns to me.
“I’ll see you tomorrow?”
Why did that sound more like a question?
“Absolutely, beautiful! I’m already counting the minutes until I see you again.” Gently taking her hand, kissing it’s back. Making her blush crimson red at the same time.
“Ook…Bye! “Taking her hand out of mine, she starts running away.
Will she ever stop running away from me?
