The last place where I want to be is in Abraham's house tonight. I cannot believe that Abraham could oppress another human being as he treats Maria. I tried the old excuse that I had a headache and was not up for dinner with the De Lucas. Victor ignored my complaints, and now I sit across my new nemesis. I had no appetite for food, but I was pretty thirsty. I was already on my second glass of wine before everyone took a seat.
