** Remy’s POV **
The second I step into the room, her scent slams into me like a freight train.
It’s Paige, sweet, soft and maddening, but underneath it is something else. Something I’ve only ever caught traces of when pack females go into heat. Only this is sharper, richer, laced with a pull that makes my wolf bare his teeth and claw at the inside of my chest.
Ryder has her pinned against the wall, buried deep inside her, his mouth fused with hers. She’s breathless and trembling with need. I can feel it through the bond. It’s like a fire, licking at my every nerve, and searing through my self-control.
I should leave. I should slam the door, give them privacy, pretend I didn’t just hear her gasp my name like I’m the one inside her, but I can’t. My wolf won’t let me.
