In a long time, I felt good. Like liquid sunshine was coursing through my veins and I was absolutely awake. The world was brighter, more colorful. The sun wasn't so harsh- instead it warmed my skin instead of burning me. Even Ophelia's scathing comments didn't faze me. I was actually happy for once, and it was the kind of happiness that was tangible and real. The thought of going to school didn't put a damper on my day.
