Chapter 3

ANANYA'S POV

AFTER TWO DAYS... 

" It's all because of you, Ryan. Only because of you I lost my luggage. Can't you just keep a watch on that? Useless fellow!! " I yelled on him umpteenth time.

" Excuse Me, I am not a useless instead you are a dumbhead. You were yourself busy checking out hot hunks, and now here, you are shouting on me for being careless. i***t. " He spat back on my face.

" How dare he?" I cursed him in my mind.

" Don't curse me, your wishes won't get fulfilled. Now stop being overdramatic and sit in the car. " He said and winked at me.

The whole ride to my mansion was full of my continuous bickerings, gossips, and sometimes leg pulling of my other half and he being patiently listening to me. I was again going to  tell something to him then suddenly the driver applied the brakes. As I looked outside the window of the cab, I was just hypnotised. There it was, my beautiful home, my mansion. The mansion where I created the most beautiful moments of my life, is now in front of me decorated like a gorgeous bride who is soon going to get married. I immediately ran inside my house forgetting about everything.

" Mum, dad, Bro...  Where are you all? See who has come to meet you. " I was continuously screaming their names but no one was around. Then I silently tip-toed inside the kitchen and blindfolded my Mum's preety eyes with my hands trying to surprise her.

" Chiku" She immediately recognised me. I mean how. I didn't even tell anybody that I am coming. Only moms have such special powers I guess.

She instantly took me in a bone crushing hug and kissed me all over my face.

" Baby, how did you come here? You didn't even inform us. Anything could have happened during that time." She flooded me with her trail of questions.

Before I could speak something my dadda and Bro came, shock was clearly evident on their face.

" Chiku, what are you doing over here and how did you come?  Haven't I told you not to go anywhere without informing me and here you travelled all over the states and that even all alone? What if something would have happened to you? " Concern was laced all over his voice.

" Offo! Bro, See I am perfectly fit and fine. Nothing happened to me." I answered and immediately hugged him and all his anger melted within a seconds and he too engulfed me in a tight hug. But I guess this questioning and yelling session was not over, now it was dadda's turn and he too started.

" Aubrey , I told you not to give her so much freedom, now see your daughter has grown so big that she came here all alone. She didn't even bother to ask for our permission. It's all because of the unnecessary love and care of you both that she has become too stubborn. " Dadda yelled on me while gritting his teeth.

" I was missing my family and thought to surprise them but I was wrong, I should not come here. " I whispered while trying to control my tears which are now ready to shed anytime.

" Hello everybody, What's going on over here? " Ryan asked while coming near the dining area carrying his luggage and took the blessings of Mum and Dadda and hugged Bro.

" Nothing, just waiting for my flight back to School." I whispered while rubbing my tears from the back of my sleeves and quickly ran inside my room and locked it.

" Ryan, You also accompanied her? But you didn't inform us that you both are coming here. " Mr. Jones asked Ryan with guilty eyes.

" Oh! Ava wanted to surprise you all that's why she asked me to keep my mouth shut. But what happened? " He asked them looking totally confused.

" You should not scold her like this Samuel. She is still so young. Moreover, she has not come here alone, Ryan was also there with her. " Aubrey tried to make Samuel understand.

" Ryan, thank you so much for taking care of her. I know she is very stubborn and sometimes it is very difficult to handle her mood swings but you always take care of her. I will be always grateful to you. You don't know how much scared I was when I came to know that she come here all alone. " said Mr. Jones while placing his hand on Ryan's shoulder.

" Ava is not only your daughter but also my bestest friend, Uncle and I will always take care of her." Ryan said softly.

" But now what we will do to make her happy again. She is so angry on us. " questioned Aubrey while thinking.

" I will go and talk to her. I know how to get my chirpy Chiku back." Jayden told them with a wide grin and walked towards her room.

" I will go back today itself and won't come here again. Nobody is happy to see me and are only scolding me. Nobody loves me. " I said as I sobbed laying on my stomach and burying my head in my pillow.

Then suddenly I heard the sound of door knob being opened. I know this is Bro he always do this. Whenever I lock myself in my room Bro always open it with his spare keys and come inside.

" Everyone loves you, Chiku. They are just a little bit concerned for your safety. "  He consoled me while stroking my hair and pulled me in a hug.

" But he always scolds me. He didn't even smile at me for once. He doesn't love me. He only loves you. " I whisper yelled and cried while rubbing my tears.

" I know he loves me much more than you because I am an extra intelligent, smart, handsome and a very obedient boy not like uh, Ms. Chiku and he will love me even much more when you will go back to School " He teased me while trying to suppress his laughter and I without even realising what he said, just nodded and sobbed.

When realisation hit me, I screamed "NO, he loves me more than you because I am super intelligent, beautiful, stubborn and adamant just like him. I have inherited all the characteristics of my Dadda not like you, so he loves me much more than you. Now I won't go anywhere and will stay here only. " I shouted and showed him my tongue.

" Oh! really, but someone was saying that nobody loves her and especially her dadda. Now you don't even want to go back, huh.." He whispered while tickling me and we soon starting laughing our heart out aloud holding our stomach.

" Now if you are not angry on me then may I come in. See, I have made your favourite dishes like Italian white sauce pasta, mexicano cheese pizza and chocolate truffle cake for you. Won't you eat it? " Mum asked me while entering inside my room and my mouth instantly filled with water. I instantly jumped on her and grabbed all the dishes from her hand.

" I love you, Mom. You are the bestest." I just kissed her on her cheeks and started munching my food.

" That's not fair, Mum. You never do this for me. You love her more than me. " Bro whined and started making faces.

" There is no doubt in it." She exclaimed and soon we both bursted in laughter seeing Bro's annoying face.

I had travelled whole day, now I didn't have any energy to do anything so I quickly changed into my nightwear and dozed off.

" I am sorry, Chiku. I know, I should not had scolded you like that but baby, when it comes to your safety I can go to any extent. You did wrong, you should not come back here. But I will definitely send you back soon. Have a sound sleep. " Mr. Jones said stroking her hair and pecked her on her forehead.

I heard someone's voice which was not much audible. Therefore, I tried to open my eyes.

" Dadda, Umm... What happened? What are you doing over here at this time? It's quite late you should sleep." I asked Dadda trying to decipher what's happening around me in a half unconscious state. I sat on my bed and laid my head on the headrest. He immediately engulfed me in a tight hug. I know he is feeling guilty for what he did. But there is no need to feel that, I am no longer angry on him.

" Dadda, You don't need to feel bad. I am no longer angry on you. Infact, I am sorry. I should not have come here without informing you. Please forgive me." I apologised him while holding my ears.

" Princess, it was my mistake. You came here to meet us and what I did, I just ruined your surprise and happiness. I should apologise to you. Please forgive me." I heard him say.

" It was your mistake and mine too, so accounts closed and this chapter too. Now we will be not going to play sorry sorry all night." I chuckled and laid my head on his lap and he started stroking my hair.

" Hahaha... Ok Baba, we won't. Now just close your eyes and sleep. It's quite late". Dadda said while kissing me on my forehead.

" Yes Dadda, I should sleep now because tomorrow is going to be a very big day for me. I know it won't be easy to convince you for that but I am also Avery Jones and no one can stop me from achieving what I want." I thought and soon dozed off dreaming about the uncertain future ahead.
