6:30 a.m.

Dear Diary,

There is a lot to tell you but don't know from where to start. Guess what...? After two days, I am going back to my home. I have not seen that place since ages because my family didn't allow me to come over there, the reason of which, I am still oblivious to. But this time I am going to surprise them as I had not told anyone of them about my arrival. I know they will be hell angry on me as I will be travelling alone for the very first time without any bodyguard but when Ryan is with me then there is no fear.

Moreover, Christmas is also coming so I can't afford to celebrate if without my family.

Now I am getting late for college and won't be able to get much time to share my thoughts with you. Therefore, asking you to pardon me beforehand.

I just rushed outside my apartment as I can't take the risk to bear the lectures of Mr. Wordsworth. He is my Business Economics professor and I am already on his hit list. If today he come to know that I am again late in his class then he will not be going to spare me.

As I was entering inside the college gate, I saw Ryan is waiting for me impatiently. I know he always waits for me but today something is different. His back was facing me so he was not able to see my face.

" Ryan, what's wrong with you? What happened? Why are you looking so much worried? " I shooted him with my questions as he saw me.

" Ava, Have you even realised what is the date and time now? " He asked me with same exasperation.

" It's December 18, so what?" I wondered. " Oh s**t! How can I forget that today is the last date to submit the marketing project and Mrs. Robert does not entertain late submitters." I exclaimed in horror and was hell worried now.

" Have you submitted your work? " I asked him.

" Of course, yes. I am not a dumbhead like you, who is always in her own world and by the way why are you so late. " He said.

" Um.. I was having a headache previous night and due to that I was not able to sleep properly. As you know, I feel like this sometimes. But no worries right now I am perfectly fit and fine. " I replied.

" You were not well yesterday and you didn't even bother to call me for once. How many times I have told you that you are not alone here, I am just one call away. If any thing happens to you then who will be responsible. What will I say to your Dadda that SORRY uncle I was unable to take care of your daughter and because of me she di.. " He almost choked on his words.

I opened and closed my mouth several times but was unable to form words.

" Ryan why are you exaggerating it so much? See, I am perfectly fine. Nothing happened to me. Why are you making it such a big fuss? " I said softly and tried to put some sense in his brain.

" Oh Great! Now I am exaggerating it. Cool.. Do whatever you want to do. I am leaving and now I won't interfere in any of your matters. One more thing, I had already prepared and submitted your project so you need not worry about that. " He yelled and almost disappeared in thin air.

It took me few minutes to register whatever happened. Now I have to do one more thing before leaving for India and that is to convince the other half of my life.
