Right after he settled me back on the bed, I felt Kieran taking the empty spot just beside my body as he sat on the edge of the mattress next to me. I still had my eyes closed, but I was fully conscious now and still kept myself aware of what he might do. Why was he still here? And why did he have to carry me and bring me to bed? What the hell? He had been acting really strange ever since that night of the attack.
