We are getting ready for the upcoming intramurals happening this week. The faculty has formed a team for each grade level for the event, so we need to check the bulletin board to see which teams we belong to. “Why not organize by grade level?” suggested my classmate Resse, who has been my best friend since grade 9. “For real, ugh, I don’t have any close friends on the Green Basilisk,” my other friend Ish replied. "Sebastian is on my team, the Blue Hydra," Kaye added. We've also been best friends since grade 9, and now that we're in our first year of senior high school, we're inseparable. The four of us formed separate teams: I am in Yellow Phoenix, Resse is in Red Dragon, Kaye is in Blue Hydra, and Ish is in Green Basilisk.
After eating lunch, our team and our team adviser held a meeting to discuss the games and activities during the event. We spent our time preparing for our performances for the intramurals. I teamed up with my friends from another grade level, which made it easier to stay engaged and not get bored.
After class, we decided to go home because it had been a tiring day for all of us. Resse invited us to the mall since she didn’t want to go home yet, but I declined because I was already feeling sleepy. In the end, we decided it was best to head home.
When we got home, instead of sleeping, my friends and I talked online until midnight. As a result, we were all late for class the next day.
