CHAPTER 16 18th January, 1486, London, England The weather hadn’t changed of course, but it certainly felt less frigid, bundled up in warm clothing as she was this time around. Eddie had been so focused on himself, he hadn’t even noticed how poorly dressed she’d been for the conditions he’d forced her to bring him back to. It only took Seb a few moments to locate the door Eddie would come out of when he exited the tower. It faced the courtyard, which due to the freezing cold conditions was currently empty of all human life, except for the two of them. Despite it being daytime, the sky was grey and overcast, and many of the windows in the surrounding buildings were lit up with candlelight, which spilled faint yellow streaks across the snow, creating an odd kind of pattern in the court
