As the private jet descended gracefully onto the tarmac, the morning sun bathed the runway in golden hues, casting a radiant glow over the scene. Richard Grant, heir to the Grant Multinational Conglomerate and CEO of Grant Holdings, stepped off the plane with an air of effortless elegance. His tailored suit spoke of sophistication, and his stride exuded confidence as he made his way down the stairs. Richard stood at a commanding height, every inch of his frame exuding confidence and strength. With broad shoulders tapering down to a narrow waist, his physique was nothing short of impressive. Defined muscles rippled beneath taut skin, hinting at hours spent sculpting his body to perfection. A chiseled jawline framed by a well-groomed beard added to his rugged allure, while piercing eyes sparkled with intelligence and charisma. His smile, framed by full lips, could disarm even the most guarded heart. Richard was the epitome of masculine charm, a bachelor whose presence turned heads and left a lasting impression wherever he went. "Good morning, Mr. Grant," greeted Alex, his trusty assistant, as soon as Richard's feet touched the ground. "I hope you had a pleasant flight. Allow me to brief you on today's schedule." Richard nodded in acknowledgment, his attention fully focused on Alex as they walked towards the awaiting limousine. "What's on the agenda?" he inquired, his voice carrying an undertone of anticipation. Alex quickly ran through the day's events, listing off appointments and engagements with practiced ease. "First, we'll be checking in at the Grand Grant Group Hotel, followed by a press conference upon your arrival. Then, you have a meeting with the Governor in the afternoon, and finally, a surprise blind date arranged by your mother with the daughter of the Veasna Enterprises founder." Richard's eyebrow quirked at the mention of the blind date, earning a teasing grin from Alex. "Looking forward to meeting your future wife, sir?" Richard chuckled, shaking his head. "Let's focus on getting through today first, shall we?" As they approached the waiting limousine, Richard hesitated for a moment, glancing at the throng of reporters gathered nearby. "Cancel the press conference," he instructed quietly, a hint of annoyance tainting his otherwise composed demeanor. "I'm afraid that won't be possible, sir," Alex replied, his tone apologetic. "The press is already at the hotel, eager to hear from you. You've become quite the hot topic lately, especially since taking over as CEO and being a sought-after bachelor." Frowning slightly, Richard weighed his options before making a decision. "Fine. But I'm not arriving in that," he said, gesturing towards the limousine. Understanding his boss's aversion to the media circus, Alex nodded in agreement. "I anticipated as much, sir. Your super bike is waiting for you." With a grateful nod, Richard got into the limousine to switch his attire to protective biker gear before proceeding to his sleek black motorcycle that Alex had arranged to be brought to the airport. As he revved the engine to life, the limousine departed with Alex inside, leaving Richard to navigate the swarm of reporters on his own. As he approached the hotel, the reporters' anticipation reached a fever pitch, thinking Richard was inside the limousine. But as Alex emerged from the vehicle, their disappointment was palpable. Questions flew at him from all directions, but Alex simply smiled and directed them towards the hotel entrance. Meanwhile, Richard seized the opportunity to slip past the reporters unnoticed. However, his attempt at stealth was short-lived as they caught sight of him and descended upon him like a pack of hungry wolves. In a panic, Richard darted towards the nearest entrance, hoping to find refuge from the relentless barrage of questions. ******************************** As Bella and her friend Leala made their way through the employee passage towards the supplies and storage room, their laughter echoed off the walls, punctuated by snippets of gossip about the morning meeting with the hotel manager. "Did you see the look on his face when he mentioned the CEO's arrival?" Bella giggled, recalling the manager's comically elongated neck. Leala joined in, her amusement evident. "And that shade of orange he turned! I thought he was going to burst!" Their laughter faded as Leala's mood shifted, her thoughts turning to her upcoming task. "Ugh, I've been assigned to the heiress's suite again," she grumbled, her brow furrowing with annoyance. Bella raised an eyebrow, a mischievous glint in her eye. "Better watch out for flying vases this time, Leala. I hear purple is her unlucky color today." Leala sighed, resigned to her fate. "Just my luck," she muttered, her shoulders slumping in defeat. As they reached the supplies room and gathered what they needed, their conversation was interrupted by the arrival of Ravae, who approached Leala with a hopeful expression. Bella shot Leala a knowing smile before excusing herself, giving them some privacy. Leala, oblivious to Ravae's feelings, greeted him with a polite smile, unaware of the adoration shining in his eyes. Meanwhile, Bella continued on her way, her mind buzzing with anticipation for her own assignment. The thought of tending to the CEO's needs filled her with excitement, despite the mystery surrounding his appearance. As she disappeared around the corner, Leala couldn't help but feel a pang of jealousy. "Lucky you," she muttered under her breath, her gaze lingering on Bella's retreating figure. As Bella was passing the employee exit door leading to the hotel main lobby, she balanced a stack of beddings and pillows in her arms, her thoughts consumed by the tasks ahead. Suddenly, the door swung open with unexpected force, causing her to stumble and drop her cargo onto the floor. "Oops, I'm so sorry!" came a voice filled with genuine remorse. Bella winced as she rubbed her forehead where the impact had landed, her irritation momentarily forgotten as she focused on collecting the fallen items. She barely registered the man who knelt beside her, his hands reaching for the same bedding. Their fingers brushed against each other, and Bella looked up, finally taking in the person who had collided with her. Her breath caught in her throat as she met his gaze, drawn to the depth of his eyes and the warmth of his expression. For a moment, time seemed to stand still as they stared at each other, lost in a silent exchange of understanding. But the spell was broken as Bella blinked and stood up, breaking the connection. "Thank you," she murmured, accepting the beddings and pillows that he handed to her. He introduced himself as Richard, and Bella couldn't help but notice the slight fumble in his words as he spoke. Curiosity sparked within her, and she inquired about his occupation. "Um, I'm... I'm a handyman," Richard replied, his cheeks tinged with a faint blush. Bella nodded, though a hint of confusion lingered in her expression. Their brief conversation was interrupted as Richard apologized once again before questioning if they had met before. Bella shook her head, a small smile tugging at the corners of her lips. "I don't think so. I'm Bella." Pleasantries were exchanged, and as they parted ways, Bella couldn't shake the feeling of intrigue that lingered in her mind. Meanwhile, Richard attempted to navigate the labyrinthine employee tunnels, his mind still reeling from the encounter with Bella. He pretended to know where he was going until she was out of sight, but soon found himself hopelessly lost in the maze of corridors. As Bella continued her duties on the fifth floor, tidying up the suite designated for the CEO, Mr. Grant, her mind raced with thoughts of efficiency and perfection. She meticulously arranged furniture, ensuring every detail was in place to meet the high standards expected of the hotel. Lost in her tasks, Bella's focus wavered for a moment, and she stumbled, her foot catching on a loose edge of the carpet. With a gasp, she lurched forward, accidentally pushing the washroom dresser in her path. It toppled with a crash, striking one of the tap cables and causing water to gush forth uncontrollably. Panic seized Bella as she frantically searched for a solution. Her heart pounding, she dashed towards the suite's main door, desperate for assistance. To her relief, she found Richard standing outside, a serendipitous sight that offered a glimmer of hope in her moment of distress. Without hesitation, Bella pulled Richard inside, her words tumbling out in a rush as she explained the situation and implored him to fix the tap. Richard, taken aback by Bella's urgency, could only nod in response as she rushed out to retrieve tools from the emergency toolbox in the corridor. As Bella returned with the tools, Richard set to work, his hands moving with practiced ease as he addressed the problem. With each twist and turn of the wrench, the flow of water gradually subsided, until finally, the tap was fixed. With the crisis averted and her emotions beginning to calm, Bella turned to Richard, her cheeks flushed with embarrassment. She apologized profusely for the inconvenience, her gratitude evident in her sincere words. Curiosity piqued, Bella couldn't help but inquire about Richard's presence on the fifth floor. His response, though vague, only served to deepen the mystery surrounding him. As they exchanged farewells and Bella ushered him out of the suite, Richard couldn't suppress the smile that tugged at his lips. There was something about Bella's audacity and charm that captivated him, sparking an unexpected attraction that he found both intriguing and delightful. Outside the suite, Richard paused for a moment, contemplating the whirlwind encounter and the boldness of Bella's actions. Despite being momentarily displaced from his own room, he couldn't help but admire her spunk and determination. With a fond smile, Richard made his way down the corridor, eager to unravel the enigma that was Bella and intrigued by the prospect of what lay ahead.
