IVY I woke up with a groan, back screaming like I'd wrestled a bear and lost. Which, honestly, wasn’t too far from the truth. Sophia hit like a truck, and while I technically won, my body hadn't gotten the memo. Still, I didn’t die, so I’ll take that as a win. A very sore, bruised, can't-lift-my-arm kind of win. The weekend had been... quiet. Uncomfortably so. Nothing dramatic happened, which, considering how I managed to pick a fight with both Kade and Blaise in the same twenty-four-hour span, was probably for the best. It was like I couldn’t help myself. One minute I’m tangled up with Kade in a closet, all heat and breathlessness, and the next I’m flinging words at him like daggers. Same with Blaise. He gave one wrong answer, I detonated.
