Looking for Celine

Celine looked at him while he was carrying an umbrella, and she wanted to see his face. Celine was still looking at the man, but she could not see his face because it was covered by an umbrella. The man smiled while looking at her.
"Oh, no. How could I give this back to him if I didn't know what he look like? How?" Celine continued to stare at the man who gave her the handkerchief. She didn't even have a glimpse of what he looked like.
At the moment that Celine got off the bus, she immediately went home to the condo. When she entered, Aaron's smiling face immediately greeted her.
"You're home. I thought you weren't going to work-" Aron stopped speaking seeing her reddened eyes. He frowned and approached her.
"Are you okay?" Celine shook her head as tears welled up in her eyes. Aron was immediately surprised by what she saw, Celine was tearing up, but she was still smiling while facing Aron. It was the first time Celine had done this. She was weak for the first time in her whole life because she stays strong even though she was oppressed and her feelings were hurt by other people.
Aron grabbed Celine closer to him and hugged her tightly. Because of Aron's warm and sincere hug to her, Celine cried even more at what he was doing. She could not stop the tears dripping from her eyes. She wanted to bring out all of her weakness and Lucas's grandmother’s blame on her. Everyone seems to have met Celine blaming her for the events.
She thought she was so unlucky to live in this world. Celine never thought of enjoying her life as she knew, happiness brings sadness. Everyone blames her, but Celine still stood for herself as she wanted to continue living.
Aron was still hugging her while she was sobbing hard. He remembers his Ex-girlfriend again, she was still the same as Celine how she cried and how he take care of her that night. At the moment, Celine calmed, she fell asleep afterward. Aron stared at Celine for a moment as he felt sorry for her. He didn't even know who made her cry, but he was sure that it was that man who offered her that damn contractual marriage.
Aron clenched his fists while thinking about that man again. "How can he do this to Celine. She didn't even deserve this!" he angrily uttered.
Celine was asleep, but her mind was still running and worried about the events that had happened earlier. She still remembers Celine and the words Lucas's grandmother left her. Celine's eyes were already closed, but her tears were dripping. It didn't stop because until now she was still hurt.
Aron was off to work when he looked back at Celine's room to check on her. He smiled as he saw Celine sleeping soundly. Aron understands that Celine is going through something, so it's okay for her not to go to work first.
Aaron is already at work, and it looks like a lot of people are inside the bar right now. He entertains customers with a smiling face, but Aaron was surprised to see Celine heading in his direction.
"Why are you here?" he asked her.
"I'm here to work,"
He sighed, "You can rest. I'll take care of explaining to our boss," Aron smiled at her, but Celine shook her head.
"No. I don't think that's right. You're always the one who's in trouble because of me. I don't want to blame myself again when something bad happens to you because of my stupid actions," Celine replied to him, and she went to the dressing room already dressed in her uniform.
Aron shook his head while looking at her. She’s so stubborn and Aron wants to say something about the bar to her. He's the owner of the bar, but he hasn't said that thing to Celine yet. Celine was serving drinks to customers while Aron was mixing drinks.
"Maybe he'll walk away from me when she finds out I'm the owner of the bar," Aron said to himself with a sigh. He didn't want to ruin their friendship, and he didn't want Celine to stay away from him. He wanted to see her every day, and he didn't want to lose sight of Celine. Aron is so scared of losing her, he seems to think that Celine is his girlfriend that he needs to protect and take care of.
After their duties, Celine wanted to go and greet Lucas' condition, but she knew that his grandmother was there and she also couldn't get close to where Lucas was.
Celine frowned as she walked which was immediately noticed by Aron. He smiled and blocked her path causing her to stop her walk. She looked at him with a frown.
"What's with the long face?" he asked her.
"Huh?" Aaron immediately placed his on Celine's lips, and he slowly built a smile on Celine's lips.
"You have to smile like this," Aron said to her while his hands were still on her lips. Celine was too stunned to speak while looking at Aron in front of her. She saw the twinkling eyes of the man in front of her. Aron didn't fail to make her smile.
Celine laughed as she looked at Aron. He was making a silly face to make her smile, and he did it. Celine laughed as she stared at Aaron.
"That's enough," she said with laughter.
"See, I made you laugh too,"
"Yes, you did,"
They continued to walk, but Celine saw an ice cream vendor passes by. "Oh, I-Ice cream,"
"You want?"
"No. It's okay,"
"Wait," Celine's eyes widened when Aron ran towards the vendor.
"Wait, excuse me. Mister!" he shouts as he continues to run. Celine was surprised at what Aaron did. The seller of ice cream is far away, but Aron still chases after it just to buy one for Celine.
As he went back, he was smiling holding two ice creams in his hands. Celine laughed as she looked at him. Aron was happy because he was carrying the ice cream for Celine.
"Here," Celine just gasped as she looked at him.
"Are you okay?"
"You don't have to do that, Aron,"
"What?"
"You don't have to chase the man who sells ice cream. I can buy it next time, why do you have to chase that?" Celine asked Aron tearfully.
"You said you wanted to eat one. So," Aron hadn't finished what he was going to say when Celine suddenly hugged him. His eyes widened because of what she did.
"I didn't know there was anyone like you, Aron. I never thought that everything I said to someone would be so important. I never imagine that there is someone like you who values an ordinary woman like me," she said softly to herself as she hugged Aron.
Celine became comfortable with Aron. So it was no longer awkward for her to hug him. She was used to it, and she considered Aron as a close friend.
"Thank you for being a good friend to me, Aron. You're the only one who became my friend, so I'm happy to meet you," Celine told him. Aron couldn't speak because he was hurt, and Celine only considered him as a friend. He wanted to be more to her. He wanted to be more than a friend.
After that, they continued to walk while eating the ice cream. Celine was looking at the bright city lights that surrounds her while Aron's eyes remained fixed to hers.
Meanwhile, Lucas still doesn't wake up. Mark and Christian were worried about him, and they were still thinking about Celine. His grandma is not in Lucas' room because she has been busy with her company that she will bequeath to Lucas when the time comes when he is ready.
"How can we tell Lucas about Celine?" Christian asked.
"I don't know. I'm still thinking of a way,"
"But, what if-"
Lucas suddenly moved. They both walked closer to him. "Is he awake?"
"Yes, I think so,"
Lucas slowly opened his eyes. His vision was blurred at first, but it soon became clear. He roamed around the place, and he saw Mark and Christian. He was looking for Celine, but he didn't see her inside.
"Where is she?" Lucas asked them, but they did not know what to answer him. Mark was about to answer when suddenly the door opened, and Glenda went in.
She glared at them, and it seemed like she didn't want them to talk about what she did to Celine.
"She went home, Lucas. She had a lot of work to do," Glenda uttered, so Mark and Christian could no longer speak. They just nodded when Lucas looked at them.
"She said she will be back," Glenda added. She then went closer to Mark.
"Call her and tell her to come here," she whispered. Mark nodded his head and went out, but he realized that he hadn't her number on his phone.
"How? How can I call her?"
