Glenda wanted to meet Celine and talk to her. "Let's go back. We will find her by tomorrow," Glenda said to her driver, and they drove off the place.
Glenda finds Celine on her staff and brings her before her. He wants to see the girl and why Lucas sacrificed his life for a woman. Lucas still doesn't know what his grandmother is doing because Lucas still doesn't wake up. He is still under anaesthesia, so he still does not wake up. Glenda wanted to see Celine so badly and wanted to talk and ask her.
Celine woke up, but she immediately heard the gunshot that happened yesterday when she opened her eyes. It was traumatizing Celine, and she could listen to it over and over even when she was inside her room. All she can remember is that the man shot Lucas because it saved her. Celine couldn't thank him more for saving her life. She was covering her ears and closing her eyes at the same time as she kept listening to it.
Celine took a deep breath, "It's okay, Celine. It's not your fault. Don't blame yourself for what has happened," she kept telling herself to make herself calm.
Later that morning, Celine then went to a market to buy some fruit and visit that man who saved her. Celine took a taxi to the hospital. She didn't know if Lucas was awake, but she was hoping he was awake. She couldn't afford to lose someone because of saving her. Celine didn't want to end up blaming herself for living instead of the man who saved her. When Celine arrived at the hospital, she immediately went inside.
She was sighing as she started to walk towards her bedroom. Her knees were shaking because she thought she might still not wake up.
Celine was already outside Lucas' room, but a muscular man stopped her. She looked at him with a frown. "Who are you, Miss?" the burly man asked her.
"Ah. I'm a friend of Lucas," Celine said.
"Name?"
"Celine."
"Wait," the man immediately went inside, and it was still a long time before I came back when he came out; Celine then went inside.
She was looking around, and instead of seeing those two men, she saw a lady over there. Celine was frowning as she was looking at the lady. She bowed her head, and the lady faced her.
Celine then swallowed hard as she was looking at the lady. Her brows raised as she looked at Celine.
"So, are you that girl, Celine? Who was saved by my grandson?" the lady said.
"Ah, yes," her lips were trembling and she locked her hands together while looking at the lady in front of her. She looked so strict and it seemed like Celine could be eaten any minute from now.
"So, what are you doing here?" the lady said.
"I was here to give these fruits to him and visit him if he was fine," Celine said.
"Are you his girlfriend?" the lady asked her. Celine then remembered what Lucas said to her about that she had to pretend to be his wife. She was sighing as she smiled at her.
"Yes, Ma'am," she said as she bowed her head. Glenda's eyes started to widen as she heard it. At the same time, Mark and Christian arrived at his room. They all heard it, which caused them to be surprised while looking at Celine.
"Are you sure?" Celine was about to speak again, but Lucas moved and made some noises as if he was awake. All of their attention was on him. As Lucas slowly opened his eyes, the ceiling opened up to him. He slowly looked around and saw his Grandma, Mark, Christian and Celine, which caused him to smile.
"Are you okay?" that was the first thing he said as he looked at Celine. Glenda was surprised as she looked at Celine. She was smiling as she got closer to Lucas.
"Yes, I am. Thank you, and I'm sorry," Celine uttered to him.
Celine then held his hands with a smile. "Thank Goodness you're awake now."
Later that morning, Lucas tells his grandma about Celine. Glenda looked at them as if she felt something weird about them. She was still looking at Celine and looking at her grandson.
"Are you going to marry this girl in the future, right?" Glenda asked Lucas, which caused Celine to cough.
"I'm sorry," she said as she continued coughing.
"What do you do in life?" Glenda asked her. Celine was about to speak when Lucas spoke first before her.
"She's a fashion designer, Grandma. She had a lot of work, so we rarely saw each other," Lucas lied with a smile, but Glenda already knew where Celine worked.
"I thought you worked in a bar?" Glenda asked. Lucas and Celine looked at each other.
"Yes. I worked used to being there," Celine said to cover up for Lucas's lie. Lucas was also smiling as he was looking at his grandma.
"That's right, Grandma. She's not working in the bar anymore. Celine designs dresses and gowns. She's very talented, Grandma," Lucas boasted. Mark and Christian were shaking their heads while looking at Lucas.
"Alright. I'll leave him to you. Take care of my Lucas, okay?" Celine nodded her head before Glenda went out.
After Glenda went out, Celine looked at him with a sigh. "Why did you have to say that? I'm no fashion designer, Lucas. I don't have-" Lucas put the finger on her lips as he was stopping her from talking. Celine was stunned as he did that; his soft hands that landed on her lips gave her butterflies inside. It was an unexplainable feeling she felt when Lucas did that to her.
Celine then stepped back from him while her eyes were still fixed on him. Celine could not move because of the electric feeling while staring at him. She couldn't move her feet as she was still stunned by what he had done.
"Why aren't you moving? Are you stunned because of my handsome face? Are you falling in love with her for real now?" Lucas asked her teasingly as he bit his lower lips.
Celine bared her teeth while looking at him as she was about to punch him, but Lucas stopped her as he held her wrists, and his eyes were fixed on her.
"What are you going to do now, Celine?" he asked with a smirk on his lips. Celine scoffed as she released her wrist from him.
"I should have been here. This is a mistake coming here!" Celine said to him. Mark and Christian were still looking at them as they both frowned.
"What's happening between them?" Mark asked.
"I don't know. I can't tell."
Celine then put the basket of fruits onto his table and said goodbye to them. She looked back at Lucas as he was smiling at her.
"How annoying."
