This moment feels surreal. A little over six months ago, we each had the opportunity to submit to an anthology. That would’ve been fun, but you know what’s even more fun? Two friends putting together their ideas like chocolate and peanut butter, combining them into something even greater (and delicious).
We set out to write a short story together, but it quickly became apparent that Brygida and Kaspian’s journey could not be contained in just a few pages. Soon, we were falling in love with our precious little cinnamon-roll characters and their world. Creatively, neither of us has ever felt more fulfilled as we have working on Witch of the Lake; we just seem to complement one another in ways neither of us ever imagined.
