Chapter Seventeen:

Back at the diamond moon pack

Blake POV

I get into my office early today and open my emails i get one from Zander the beta at the sandalwood river pack. He is asking if i knew about this new alpha king, i was thinking how would they know. Wait they have witches on there side one must of foreseen this happening. I never mind other creatures out there, vampires, warlocks, witches, ect. But some of them are not all good. Anyways James comes into my office and i said “i got an email from beta Zander with sandalwood river pack” James says “why, and about” i said “he is contacting anyone who knows who the alpha king is” James says “reply him back with concern and if it is something good he is asking then maybe take him up the offer, but dont let them know you are the king” i nodded and email him back and i said “James they just want to make allies with this king and make other pack kingdoms in different regions that reports back to the alpha king, and work all as one” James says “that a great idea, why didnt i think of that” i said “because we are new at this and willow is pregnant and we been so busy getting over the battle we just did” James says “ your right, shouldn’t beat yourself” i nodded and i said “how about we set up a meeting to 3 other trusted and strongest packs to be here in a week” James says “great idea, i contact them, u get back to that beta at that pack” i said “sounds good, and plus i don’t trust the alpha there he always been sneaky and untrustworthy, so lets stay guard when they arrive” James says “will do alpha, i be back soon with the confirmation on the other 3” i said “ok, no rush ok” he nods and leaves i hear a knock on my door i said “come in” willow walks in and i said “hey beautiful, how are you” she says “fine, am i always going to feel this tired” i said “probably my love, lets go see the doctor in an hour i have a few things to do here” she says “ok, i be in the room resting” i said “ok beautiful, cya in an hour take nap i wake you when i am done” she kisses my lips and left my office. I went back to work and i saw it was 15 till so I got up out of my chair and walked out of my office to my room. I get into my room and i see willow sleeping i walk to the bed and kiss her cheek and she flutter her eyes open and said “honey lets get up, time to see the doctor” she smiles and sits up and gets out of the bed. i hold my arm open and she grabs it and we headed out of the room. We get to the doctors office and she put us in the exam room. I sit down  and the doctors comes in and says “how are you doing willow” she says “ok, very tired, i just want to sleep, should i be feeling this already, I’m not even a month in” the doctor says “lets run some test an see whats going on with your body” she draws blood and put the ultrasound on her tummy and she see no problem with baby, but more concern on willow. she finish the exam and turn the computer off and said “‘willow, the baby looks good, nice and healthy, but i am concern, what have you been doing lately” willow says “not much honestly, i have been trying to control my powers, get more control on them” the doctor writes some notes down. She says “i suggest on limiting yourself on doing that, your not just draining yourself but the baby also, doing this is taking more out of you then you really think. With this extra energy you are using you will put yourself in great danger, it will wipe you dry on energy and hurt the baby, even end up loosing it” i looked at willow and i said “what do we need to do doctor” she says “i am going to put you on some extra nutrition plan with the chef so she can have more fuel to her body, and limit her 20 minutes a day on practicing her magic, and she still needs to keep at her other activities as normal, if she goes more then 20 minutes on practicing her magic it will wipe her out for the rest of the day.” Willow says “ok doctor i am sorry i didnt now” she says “willow its ok, this things happen, its good you came to me as you did, before you hurt yourself and the baby” she smiles at her and i said “ok, i will make sure she is being watch when she is doing these exercises ” the doctor said “Good idea alpha, please limit it as much as possible” i nodded at the doctor and she writes a few more note into her chart and said “ I specialize in this field and if anything odd happens please come back and i will see you right away!!” i said “on it doctor” she leaves the room and 10 minutes later comes back with more pills to take and a nutrition list plan. I said “thank you” she says “no problem its my job to keep everyone healthy and safe, alpha have a nice day and you too willow”. willow nods and she gets up off the table and i said “why didnt you tell me you where going to try to exercise your powers?” Willow says “i dont know i felt i needed to, dont you?” i said “no, i only use them when they are needed, you are not weak my queen, so i have one of the girls watch over you durning these exercises ok”, willow says “ok, lets go get something to eat” we walk out of the exam on to the pack house and got some food in her tummy. 

James POV

After getting the order to invited the top strongest packs on each direction to come for a meeting with in the week i get an ok and be there reply. I mind link shelley to get in my office once she gets done with her shift. She reply ok and i went back to my work. I finished the whole agenda for the packs coming i head out to get rooms in order for there arrival in a week the help i told them they have the whole 2nd floor cleaned. We only use this floor for guests anyways and the other 3 floors are pack members and higher ranks if those pack members want to stay in the pack house or they use the apartment complex’s we made a few years back. Anyways I head into the kitchen and blake and willow walk-in i said “hey guys how are you doing” blake says “willow has been practicing her powers with out me knowing, its draining her and the baby,” i said “woah, willow, why didnt you tell us, we are more then welcome to help you” she says “sorry, my stupid move and idea, i wont let that happen again” i said “of course shelley get back at 4pm and Lori at 6pm so you can choose one of them if u like to keep an eye on you” she says “thanks James, your awesome” i said “of course i am the best”. They grab some food and left the kitchen. I grab a snack  and drink and headed out to the warriors and patrol and let them know in a week we have alpha’s and betas coming those three are moon stone pack from the east, evergreen pack from the north, ambersy pack from the south, and of course the sandalwood river pack from the west. Once they got this info down i told them i will report to them a day before to make sure everything is in gear. They said “roger captain” i laugh and left the meeting and headed back to the pack house. It’s 3:50pm and Shelley walks up to me and i said “hello honey, how was work” she says “good, blake told me to come see you” i said “yeah, i have 4 packs coming next week for a meeting, you need to be by willow when she practice her magic” shelley says “when did she start doing this” i said “about a week ago, she is being drained and hurting not just herself but the baby” shelley eyes go big and she says “i am on it, me and Lori will take shifts” i said “she isn’t practicing this week she need to recover” shelley say “alright, i am going to go chew her a new leg” i laughed and said “she is in her room i think”, i link blake and asked where willow was he said the library. i tell shelley in the library and she ran back into the pack house. i shake my head and ask moon goddess you gave me a protective mate. And walked back into the house to finished work before dinner time.

Shelley POV

After talking with James i headed back into the pack house straight to the library and i see willow tucked into a corner trying stay invisible i walked over sat across from her with the look on my face she says “hey shelley, what do i get the privilege of your company” i said “when I found out you are practicing your magic thats what, why didnt you tell us. We almost lost you and now your sending yourself to destruction!!!” Willow sighs and said “i am sorry i didnt know and i promise not to do it alone again and only 20 minutes a day” i sighed and said “good, we cant loose our best friend” she says “if you guys where more around i probably wouldn’t have been doing it, I’m so bored” i said “you are clear to come back to the cafe, and work” her eyes light up and said “really” i said “yes, i came back early to tell you” she stands up and i do the same and she brings me in for a hug and said “thank you shelley, i need to get out of here a few days out of the week and feel normal” i said “i know, thats why i asked blake to let you come back to keep you distracted, but you will need 2 days of rest then you can work” she nods and said “thank you, i be reported to duty in 2 days” i laugh and said “hey it’s almost dinner lets go have some snacks and eat that strawberry cheese cake” willow says “don’t have to ask me twice” she grabs my hand and drags me out of the library to the kitchen  and pulls out the cheese cake and cuts a slice a piece for each of us. once she put it in front of me i said “YUMMM, who ever made this should have there own shop” willow says “that was me” i looked at her and said “you been keeping this from us. Damn, could of had this selling like hot cakes girl, you the new baker” she smiles and said “my pleasure always loved cooking and took some culternary classes too” i smiled and said come on lets fatten ourself up”. She sits next to me and we eat and talked until we where told to go ahead to eat the rest in the dinning hall. I finish my last bite so did willow and we went and sat at the table. Once we sat the boys comes in and i said “willow be our baker for the shop, so Blake you will need to make sure the kitchen is set up for a baker” blake says “sounds good to me we are in blue prints now on the building” i said “awesome” Blake sits next to willow and james sit next to me and Noah and Lori come walking in i said “Lori Willow is our new baker for the shop, its not a cafe without some treats” Lori says “sounds good to me” she sits with us and we start planning out what we like to have and willow says “how about we make a list and i make samples and see what get this most requested, if we are lucky we can do orders” i said “sounds awesome” food started arriving and we dig in to fill our belly’s up. Once we finished i excuse myself and headed up to my room and when i enter james came in and said “that was a awesome idea, you three will bank” i said “ i know, we just getting luck after luck arent we” james walks over and wraps his arms around me and said “yea, we all are” and plants a kiss on me and we went to enjoy the rest of the night together.
