Meanwhile, Julie and Amanda ate quickly as they didn't want to waste time on it. The first store only had dresses that were too bold, or in ugly colors. Amanda shook her head and they left. They went into a few more stores, but some were too expensive and Amanda couldn't afford them.
In the last store, the saleswoman already looked at the two with a disapproving look, as they were not wearing expensive clothes, which already showed that they were those penniless customers who were only there to disrupt the service.
"Goodnight. How can I help you?” The woman spoke to both of them, using a rather rude tone.
“We are looking for a dress for dinner at a fancy restaurant.” The saleswoman gave a sarcastic little laugh.
